Lindolirian 12-15-2002 12:48 PM

Nope, its something they all did... for someone.

Tulkas the Mighty 12-23-2002 08:36 PM

They all died in search of someone.

Tulkas the Mighty 12-23-2002 08:37 PM

Except for Tar-Amadil I mean. Opps. I forgot that.

Lindolirian 12-23-2002 10:32 PM

You are correct! See, that wasn't hard.

Tulkas the Mighty 12-24-2002 11:57 AM

COOL!!

Bregalad
Aragorn
Saruman
Gimli
Boromir

Lindolirian 12-26-2002 10:02 PM

Bregalad is the only one who hasn't been to Minas Tirith.

Tulkas the Mighty 12-26-2002 10:06 PM

no

Lindolirian 12-29-2002 09:38 PM

Boromir is the only one who hasn't been in Fangorn Forest.

Tulkas the Mighty 12-31-2002 04:58 PM

Thats right!

Lauren Barlow 01-04-2003 06:28 PM

*frodo because he is the only one whose name isnt shortened

what about second breakfast, elevensies, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, supper

Lindolirian 01-05-2003 05:02 PM

Finrod Felagund
Gil-Galad
The Mouth of Sauron
Faramir
Aulë

Russandol 01-05-2003 06:42 PM

I'd hazard a guess at Faramir as all the others have had first-hand dealings with The Great Eye.

Lindolirian 01-05-2003 06:49 PM

Ahh, yes. They all had first-hand dealings with Sauron who later was known as the Great Eye.

Russandol 01-05-2003 08:44 PM

Fingon
Hurin
Thorin
Frodo
Legolas

Lindolirian 01-06-2003 03:03 PM

Frodo is the only one who has never taken part in a battle.

Russandol 01-06-2003 10:22 PM

You could argue he had a role of sorts in the Battle of Bywater. Anyway, that's not the answer ... keep going!!

Beren87 01-06-2003 11:50 PM

Thorin, only one to not see a Balrog. Aye, far-fetched I know.

Russandol 01-07-2003 01:27 PM

It's good but it's not the answer.

Lindolirian 01-09-2003 05:35 PM

Frodo is the only one whose father has not fought either Morgoth or Sauron.

Russandol 01-09-2003 05:38 PM

They're all good guesses, but not it ...

Clue: - It's about something they've experienced that is not natural to their being.

Manardariel 01-10-2003 02:54 PM

They all wandered far => Men, Elves and dwarfes all do that => Hobbits donīt =>Frodo is a hobbit => Frodo is the OMO. Isnīt he?

Manardariel 01-13-2003 10:32 AM

Russandol? Was I correct?

Russandol 01-14-2003 09:56 PM

Fraid not.

Lindolirian 01-15-2003 05:43 PM

something not natural to their being? What, like killed?... Please elaborate.

Russandol 01-15-2003 10:33 PM

Without giving this one away [which would be unfair as it's foxed you all for so long ] I'll say only this. Four of them have had a rare honour

Manardariel 01-16-2003 10:02 AM

Iīve got it!!(i think). THORIN didnīt sail to Valinor! I wasnīt sure if Hurin had, but he did!
Iīm positive Iīm right this time...

Manardariel 01-18-2003 04:59 PM

*bump*

Lindolirian 01-18-2003 05:05 PM

You could say something a bit more than "bump".
Make it non-spamish like, "Hey Russandol! You on vacation? Not been around for a while. Don't forget, you have 10 days from my post to confirm it, or it's anybodys!"

Sorry. I just don't like one word posts. Well, answers are okay as one word... but now I'm just going on. Ok thats it.

Manardariel 01-18-2003 06:22 PM

Sorry if I was being rude. No such thing intended... whatīs that 20 day thingy?

Lindolirian 01-18-2003 07:04 PM

No, you weren't being rude. In fact, maybe I was. Anyways, its the 10 day thing which you can check out here: Quiz Room Rules

Beren87 01-18-2003 09:56 PM

Your quite proud of that clause you had me put in aren't you Lind.? lol.

Anyway, I would say that Manardariel should go as Russandol seems to be long gone. She did have the best (and more than likely correct) guess so far.

Manardariel 01-19-2003 02:17 PM

Beren87- Thank you. If you say itīs correct, it should be!
Lindolirian- thanks for clarification. Now I know!

Everybody- Hereīs an new OMU game:

Elrond
Aragorn
Denethor
Sam
Ganadalf

Have fun!

Lindolirian 01-19-2003 04:29 PM

Denethor has never been to Rivendell.

Russandol 01-20-2003 08:02 AM

Actually, I misread it. I thought it was 10 days without a post. I've posted clues(ish) since my original question but no matter. I shall reveal the answer ... Legolas - all the others have flown on or been carried by eagles. Legolas merely watched one from afar.

Manardariel 01-20-2003 12:50 PM

Ooooops.. ok then, sorry.

Are we doing mine anyway??
Lindolirian, you werenīt correct.

Lindolirian 01-20-2003 01:38 PM

Denethor has never been to Mordor.. or before it's Gates which is really close anyways.

Russandol 01-20-2003 02:06 PM

Denethor never met Frodo

Manardariel 01-21-2003 12:00 PM

Nope, Nope, Nope...

But I think I have to change it:

Elrond
Galadriel
Denethor
Sam
Gimli

Sorry about that!!

alaklondewen 01-21-2003 03:02 PM

Denethor never went to the Havens? He stayed in Middle Earth?

Manardariel 01-22-2003 01:30 PM

Nope!
Think books, everyone
