That is quite Impressive Esty, do you have any special activities planned for this death day?

(There really should be some sort of traditions attached to a deathday)

Thinlómien 01-12-2009 01:24 PM

Ooh, happy deathday Esty! :)

Congratulations :)

May the next seven be as fun and as impotant, and seven after that and so forth :)

Eönwë 01-12-2009 03:11 PM

Happy Deathday, Esty!

Groin Redbeard 01-12-2009 07:07 PM

Happy deathday Estelyn! Let's hope that this year you won't have to be as tEsty with us. Have a good one!:)

Estelyn Telcontar 01-12-2009 11:37 PM

Thanks for all the good wishes! No, I had no special celebration; unfortunately, real life is taking up so much of my time that I have little left over to spend on the Downs. Hopefully, that will change in the future.

Legate of Amon Lanc 01-13-2009 04:25 AM

Ooh, let me join (belated) the congratulations, Esty :) What would we do without you being here... Best wishes for your next 'Downs year and hope you are going to stay with us for long long time to come :)

Mithalwen 02-27-2009 03:50 PM

What news of Boromir the Bold? For he is long away.'

Happy 5th deathday to my near contemporary in decay and one of my best BD friends, Boromir 88 - I hope to see him around again soon.

Durelin 02-27-2009 07:27 PM

Happy Deathday Boro!!

Yes, definitely miss you being around much...

Legate of Amon Lanc 02-28-2009 02:48 AM

Ah, very true! Happy deathday, Boro! Wish you were around more.

Thinlómien 03-06-2009 08:04 AM

Wholeheartedly seconding (or fourthing?) all that has been said. :)

Lhunardawen 03-12-2009 02:03 PM

To take advantage of an increasingly rare visit, and because I am certain I will miss this on the day of, let me say this now: 6 years!

Durelin 03-12-2009 05:17 PM

Woohoo, Happy Deathday Lhuna! You need to be around more, too. :D

At least your absence has been in a good cause. Have a lovely deathday darling girl

love,

Mummie

Another year, another missed death-day; but slightly more than 7 years on the Downs for me now.

I toast you all. :smokin:

Thinlómien 05-12-2009 12:42 PM

Ooh congrats, Eomer. :)

Nogrod 05-12-2009 01:36 PM

7 years?

And you're now what?

:D

Congrats to you Eomer! You're one of those without whom the 'Downs would not be the 'Downs!

Eönwë 05-12-2009 04:10 PM

7 years. That's impressive, Eomer. Congratulations! *insert clever Scottish Gaelic proverb*

edit: though "Na abair do sheanfhacal gus an toir thu do long gu caladh." (Ah, the wonders of the internet)

Eomer of the Rohirrim 05-13-2009 02:23 AM

Thanks. And that ship just stays in the harbour now, Eönwë. Too old for anything else. :D

Okay, I was so sure that my deathday was yesterday, but when I checked I saw it was on the 7th instead. Then I look back at my post from last year and see I mixed it up the other way. How weird is that? My deathday seems to change by the year...could it be because of timezone differences? Because if I joined say 11pm MST on the 6th then technically I joined on the 7th EST (at 1am), which is what my time zone is currently set to..

So I'm no longer actually sure when my deathday is. But either way, it doesn't change that I've now been a Barrow Downer for seven years. Geez, that's a long time. I think back to when I was this 13 year old kid who was introduced to this site by a friend, and boy have things changed since then. Both me and the website. Funny to think that I've been here long enough to watch fellow Downers grow up and change with me. It's rather awesome, really. And just wait until another seven years pass...

It seems appropriate that out of all days, today will be the day I put up the admin thread for my game (yes, it'll be up sometime tonight).

Morthoron 06-07-2009 08:01 PM

Congrats, Brin.

I just noticed I also passed my two-year anniversary a few days ago. Alas, that I can continue on this board for another ten years and still be considered a junior member with the likes of Brin having posted for most of this century!

Thinlómien 06-11-2009 03:50 PM

Belated congrats, Brinn and Morth. :)

Eönwë 08-02-2009 03:41 AM

Congratulations to TGEW on her second deathday! :D

Hakon 08-02-2009 07:04 AM

Happy second death day TGEW.

TheGreatElvenWarrior 08-02-2009 08:00 PM

Now I feel old... Well, not really.:p

Thinlómien 08-05-2009 07:58 AM

Belated congrats, TGEW. ;)

Legate of Amon Lanc 08-05-2009 08:57 AM

Oh, belated happy deathday, TGEW (so now you can slowly start to consider yourself a senior member! Want a walking stick yet?), and to Brinn too! Shame I kept missing everybody's deathdays, but well, people do it themselves ;) (not that it's an excuse)

No, maybe a couple more years before I need one.:p

Macalaure 08-26-2009 07:21 AM

Happy (belated) Deathday, Rikae!

Thinlómien 08-26-2009 12:51 PM

Seconded - congrats. :)

Pitchwife 08-26-2009 01:37 PM

Thirded! All the best and a long afterlife!

Legate of Amon Lanc 08-26-2009 02:21 PM

Fourthed! :) Enjoy another year among us, Rikae!

Hakon 08-26-2009 03:41 PM

Fifthed. Happy deathday Rikae.

Eönwë 08-26-2009 04:54 PM

Ooh, a belated Happy Deathday to Rikae! :) Enjoy this year on the 'Downs and hopefully the many more to come!

Rikae 08-26-2009 06:47 PM

Thanks, everyone! :)

HerenIstarion 09-25-2009 07:41 AM

9.... ominous number, that...

Eönwë 09-25-2009 11:05 AM

Happy belated deathday, HI!

Wow... 9. Makes me feel like even more of a newbie than usual.
