This is a thing of worth beyond your reckoning. For its ancientry alone. It has no power, save the esteem in which those hold it who love my house.
Arvedui speaking of the ring of Barahir.

Firefoot 07-30-2005 07:29 AM

Correct, of course.

mormegil 07-30-2005 10:42 PM

I just moved apartments today so all of my stuff is still packed. I sadly will not be able to find a quote and be able to keep up with it for at least a day or two. So as to not let such a worthy game go too long without action I shall hand my turn over to either Kath or Folwren. They were close on the last two. The first one to get it has the turn.

Sorry about that.

Kath 07-31-2005 09:15 AM

I wasn't really involved in the last one so Folwren can take it.

Folwren 07-31-2005 09:18 AM

I don't understand...first one to get what? Anyway, I probably wouldn't be the one. Give it to Kath, she's better than I so has more right to it and she's been around more. (Now, if you're a guy, Kath, then tell me so and it won't be the first time I was wrong. I have an excuse, though...really I do...for thinking your a girl. )

-Folwren

Folwren 07-31-2005 09:20 AM

Kath, I don't want it. I don't deserve it. I haven't guessed a single one.

Why'd you choose one of us two anyway, Morm?

-Folwren

Edit: we could flip a coin. ;)

Kath 07-31-2005 09:32 AM

Since I have just been bullied into this by Folwren, here is a quote:

Quote:

"--/--/--/----/---/--------/--/--/--/---(-)----/." (.......) "----/---'-/----/-------/. ---/--/----/--/--/--/---/-----/! -/--/---/----/----/-/----/--/----/---/----/---/----/---/."

Firefoot 07-31-2005 11:44 AM

T's, please.

Alcarillo 07-31-2005 01:31 PM

Folwren 07-31-2005 03:24 PM

What ever! Bullied into nothing! ;)

sorry for jumping in without guessing any letters.

Kath 08-01-2005 03:43 PM

S'ok, I thought someone would get it with that many in. Take it away morm.

Folwren 08-01-2005 06:34 PM

You are brilliant, Kath, absolutely brilliant, to think of using a quote with z's in it.

Ach! She did it again! *sigh* :p

Kath 08-02-2005 06:38 AM

Sorry :D

mormegil 08-02-2005 07:55 AM

Correct but I thought if I included the first line it would be far too easy. You got it much sooner than I had expected. Was is the "O" that gave it away?
