Eressië Ailin 03-17-2003 11:37 PM

That's Ian Mckellen alright. He says that multiple times on the the DVD (reg. and SE).

vanwalossien 03-18-2003 01:29 AM

Eruwen was first, of course it was Ian McKellen. Well said, isn't it?

Eruwen 03-18-2003 07:27 PM

Ok then, here's the next quote...

Quote:

"In a technical way, that meant that there was no acting required of the Hobbits' friendship. It meant you could concentrate on the scenes and not worry about acting like friends because we were already best mates."
It's pretty easy, but it's just what I could come up with real fast.

Hirilaelin 03-18-2003 07:31 PM

Would it be Dominic Mohanagen? Sounds like something he would say.

Rochelle 03-18-2003 07:39 PM

I'm going to say Orlando

Eressië Ailin 03-18-2003 07:46 PM

I'm pretty sure I've heard all of the hobbits say somehting along those lines. But, I'm going with Sean A.

Samwise 03-18-2003 10:40 PM

Hm. That's either Li'l Mr. Wood or Sean Astin, but since my fave little "Hobbit"'s been guessed, I'll say Li'l Mr. Wood.

Eruwen 03-20-2003 08:59 PM

Nope. None of them. Keep guessing. It's not that hard, really. Just keep guessing.

Eressië Ailin 03-20-2003 09:00 PM

Billy Boyd, then?

Samwise 03-20-2003 10:30 PM

Eruwen, you and your 'easy' quotes.....
Sir Ian Holm?
(I know it's not, but as usual I have no clue).

Rochelle 03-20-2003 11:12 PM

Hmmm maybe Peter Jackson?

Eruwen 03-21-2003 09:45 PM

Lol, Samwise. Well, I thought it was easy cause it sounds like the guy talking.

Anyway, Eressië Ailin got it. It was that little fool of a took himself. Sounds kind of "intelligent" and sentimental sounding for Billy though, don't it? But to get on with the point...Eressië, your turn.

Samwise 03-21-2003 10:13 PM

Suuuuuurrrre you did.
Sigh, I thought it sounded like Billy, but the sentimental stuff threw me. Oh, well.

Eressië Ailin 03-21-2003 11:12 PM

Next quote:

Quote:

How am I going to tell Weta that my foot's come off?
Obviously a hobbit speaking... but if you didn't know anything about LOTR, it would kinda of weird to read something like that.

Samwise 03-21-2003 11:31 PM

Hm....Li'l Mr. Wood?

Eressië Ailin 03-21-2003 11:48 PM

Nope! Guess again!

Samwise 03-21-2003 11:56 PM

Sean Astin? He had plenty of foot trouble during the shooting...*OUCH*.....

Eressië Ailin 03-22-2003 12:21 AM

Not him either...

Hirilaelin 03-22-2003 12:41 AM

Would it be Billy, from the extended DVD, talking about how his foot came off when he was running around with Dom? I thought he said something like that, though it sounds a bit different. Isn't it weird how we talk about these people like we know them? Calling them by their first names and nicknames and all? Just a random thought there.

Eressië Ailin 03-22-2003 03:25 PM

It's Billy. I've always thought that was kinda weird how we all act like we know them... Wouldn't it be weird if there were all of these people who knew every little detail of your life?

Your turn, Hirilaelin.

Hirilaelin 03-24-2003 03:03 PM

Thank you! Yea, I always thought that it was weird how we talk like we know them.

I believe that was a Mr. Sean Bean talking about Viggo Mortensen, and what a great but unpredictable guy he was on set.

Hirilaelin 03-24-2003 07:40 PM

Yup! Go ahead!

Eärendil 03-28-2003 02:34 AM

Gorothlammothiel?

Gorothlammothiel 03-29-2003 03:22 PM

I apologise for my absence, here is the next quote:

"When Peter Jackson first approached me about his project I was a Tolkien ignoramus (as I don't consider a single reading of the Hobbit as a teenager to count very much)."

Rochelle 03-29-2003 03:46 PM

Hmm...Elijah Wood?

Gorothlammothiel 03-29-2003 03:50 PM

Sorry Rochelle, it wasn't Mr Wood

Eressië Ailin 03-29-2003 04:17 PM

How about Dom?

Gorothlammothiel 03-29-2003 04:39 PM

No, it wasn't him either

Luthien_ Tinuviel 03-29-2003 06:27 PM

I'm going to say Saen A. It somehow sounds like him.

Eressië Ailin 03-29-2003 06:48 PM

Random guess #2: Billy?
#3: Orli?

Eruwen 03-29-2003 07:21 PM

That is a tough one. Could it be Sean B?

Horse-Maiden of the Shire 03-30-2003 11:42 AM

Was it Viggo?

Gorothlammothiel 03-30-2003 03:01 PM

None of the above are correct, keep guessing

Eruwen 03-30-2003 03:07 PM

Ok then, is it Miranda Otto?

Gorothlammothiel 03-30-2003 03:11 PM

No, sorry Eruwen

Rochelle 03-30-2003 07:11 PM

Hmm..this is tough ::thinks:: perhaps Ian McKellen?

Luthien_ Tinuviel 03-30-2003 07:26 PM

This is totally random, but I'm going to guess John Rhys-Davies.

Eruwen 03-30-2003 09:06 PM

Liv Tyler? It seemed like I've heard it...possibly on the Ext. DVD or something? And it also seems like a younger-ish person. I don't know. I think Rochelle is right. I think it is Ian McKellen now that I think about when the books came out.

Hirilaelin 03-30-2003 10:52 PM

Would it be Brad Dourif?
