7, Made by a dwarf? No..well unlikely
8, Made in the second age? No
9, Made by a man? No, even more unlikely.

Is the object portable? IE could be carried by one person of reasonable strength without great difficulty or awkwardness? (I wouldn't class a door as being portable since though I might be able to lift it I would have to unscrew it and it really needs two people to move it any distance)
