Hey guys, for my own sanity as well as everyone else's, can we compile a shortlist of which of us is writing which character[s] right now, and which side of the battle they're on? If you want to toss in their current location, that would also be helpful. That way I can figure out who's active, who we need to juggle in any 'intense' moments, and which characters are currently being carried.

My apologies about that, I just wanted to make sure I personally needed to think about nothing for a brief period. Thankfully the world tipped the right way up again and my mind is all better. ;)

Yes, I felt I needed some way of getting Smilog healed and Elempi seemed like the best option. I've left it open to you if you want him to have his powers back or anything, and you can still withhold them if you wish. I didn't want to complicate things too much for you.

I appreciate the thought. I'll accept Elempi's word that it must be the Valar, and he has lost his power; otherwise my current plot developments in terms of Panakeia don't work anymore. :rolleyes:

I'll be posting later tonight. I'm setting up for Mardil to drop a bomb on the story. But don't worry, it will help set up for the ending, not lengthen the tale.

How far are we from th'end of the battle? I'd like to know because there are several key things I want to happen to some of my characters before it ends. And the aftermath for Smilog will require a long post. :o

Le Fantom, is Roggie supposed to be responding? Or is there something else to be waiting for? My brain's shot...

It would be fine to have Roggie trying to figure out what Mardil is up to, and sending out patrols to try and catch Bergil and his team of smugglers.

I actually want Roggie to catch Bergil leaving Mordor (I'll pm you about it), but not just yet.

This is one of the few things I'm doing at the Downs lately, and I"m waiting to figure out what the heck is going on myself.

I'll be posting tonight or tomorrow morning. Mardil's plan will be fully revealed. It will be a major stroke, and Roggie will be ticked. But before he has time to do anything too crazy, Mardil will extend an olive branch.

We'll just have to see if Roggie takes it.

I dunno, I really got knocked off of the writing waggon, at least with regards to any sort of fiction, with my broken leg, and I'm only just starting to recover my interest in such things. Mind you, Hyarmenwë et al have been neglected rather longer than that... but there were finals and Easter before that, if you want pathetic excuses.

I might--might--get a post up tonight, if a friend manages to keep me online long enough... but no promises. I really don't know what I'm doing, anyway, which is partly why I've put off posting so long, so I'm really on going on that vague feeling of guilt I get whenever I don't get around to something I ought to...

I'm going out of town this weekend, and when I get back, I need to move, so it may take awhile to sort out my Internet access after Friday. If I disappear for a couple of weeks, it's not permanent. :p

I'll see what I can do about adding to the tale of Panakeia and Elempi later today.

One of the jokes I am planning is that the Farsegul are really easy to kill. They all have an odd thing for their head, The Lord of the Farsegul has a potato and will be killed in a potato related way. If you want you characters to kill a Farsegul, give it a weird head and have it killed in an amusing or ironic way. :D

With the shift over to the new version of the website, there have been some minor glitches, especially in terms of clicking on links and making them work. The admins are still ironing the bugs out. Meanwhile, BW suggested this. If you click on a link like rep or try to search a thread and can't get it to work, just right click on the link and open it in a new window.

I found this worked for me.
