*Reads Celuien's post*

Wait... the battle has started? When did this happen?

Celuien 04-22-2007 10:21 AM

*looks confused*

I thought it started in lmp's post...but I could be wrong.

I can delete and move if you like.

Hookbill the Goomba 04-22-2007 10:55 AM

I think you're right.

I'll write something about the beginning, seeing as Smilog and Co seem to be in the thick of things.

***
EDIT:

Okay, I done something. Four points the the clever Wight who can say where I got the little poem from. ;)

Feanor of the Peredhil 04-22-2007 03:16 PM

Hey guys, for my own sanity as well as everyone else's, can we compile a shortlist of which of us is writing which character[s] right now, and which side of the battle they're on? If you want to toss in their current location, that would also be helpful. That way I can figure out who's active, who we need to juggle in any 'intense' moments, and which characters are currently being carried.

---

Feanor of the Peredhil:

----Alli ------- Good Guy --- Graveyard ------- Thick of It------
---Roggie ---- Good Guy ------ Palace ------ Not in the Battle---
---Mardil ----- Good Guy --- [secret-ish] ---- Not in the Battle--

Celuien 04-22-2007 03:55 PM

-- Panakeia ------good guy ----- graveyard, hiding under a rock ---- not in battle

Please feel free to borrow the following characters:

-- Phizzick ---------- good guy ---- last seen in the crypt -------- not in battle
-- In Ego Toyota ---- good guy ---- graveyard ------------------- in the thick of it
-- Fuzziwick -------- good guy ----- graveyard ------------------- in the thick of it

Diamond18 04-22-2007 05:41 PM

Skittles --- Er, she's "Skittles" --- somewhere in the Graveyard --- Not in Battle

I'm sorry for leaving such a colorful character out of "the thick of it" but I do have a plan for an amusing post to explain where and what in heck she was doing at the time, to be used as a postscript to the battle.

A Question: does the end of the battle signify the end of the story or....?

littlemanpoet 04-22-2007 07:44 PM

--Anakron -- evil good guy or good evil guy (?) -- graveyard -- dead & buried

--Elempi -- good guy -- graveyard, hiding under a rock -- not in battle

--Blue Wizards (rarely anymore) -- evil -- graveyard -- in the thick of it

Hookbill the Goomba 04-23-2007 01:44 AM

Smilog---- Good (sort of) ----- Centre of Graveyard ----- In battle (dying)

The Barrow Wight ---- Good ----- Centre of Graveyard ---- In battle

Tollin ----- Good ------ Centre of Graveyard ------ In Battle

Aime ----- Good (I think) ----- Centre of Graveyard ------ In battle

Advari ---- evil ----- Centre of Graveyard ----- In battle

I hope not, I want some nice post scripts for some of my characters. I'm going to kill of two of them, but the others need a nice rounding off.

Kath 04-23-2007 05:32 AM

Igor ---- good guy ---- graveyard ---- currently running headlong into the battle (I think)

Eomer of the Rohirrim 04-23-2007 05:50 AM

Hookbill, I can still write for Aimé. You can give him lines when you need to, though. :)

If you wish. I wasn't sure who was supposed to be writing for Aimé, ever since Fea dumped Alli and Aime on me a few posts back. ;)

My apologies about that, I just wanted to make sure I personally needed to think about nothing for a brief period. Thankfully the world tipped the right way up again and my mind is all better. ;)

Sound good?

littlemanpoet 04-29-2007 03:09 PM

Clever post, Hooky! :) The Valar are, indeed! ;)

Hookbill the Goomba 04-29-2007 03:19 PM

Yes, I felt I needed some way of getting Smilog healed and Elempi seemed like the best option. I've left it open to you if you want him to have his powers back or anything, and you can still withhold them if you wish. I didn't want to complicate things too much for you.

littlemanpoet 04-29-2007 08:01 PM

I appreciate the thought. I'll accept Elempi's word that it must be the Valar, and he has lost his power; otherwise my current plot developments in terms of Panakeia don't work anymore.

the phantom 05-01-2007 06:26 PM

I'll be posting later tonight. I'm setting up for Mardil to drop a bomb on the story. But don't worry, it will help set up for the ending, not lengthen the tale.

I might be contacting my Gondorian subjects via pm later this week to ask a couple questions. That's all for now.

Feanor of the Peredhil 05-01-2007 06:29 PM

The phantom has my consent for any and all shenanigans. We've chatted.

If you have problems with any of his bombs, feel free to smack him with a herring or two.

littlemanpoet 05-02-2007 08:52 AM

Can't wait. .... for the shenanigans. .... and to smack him with a herring. :D

I'm quite sure you know more about his shenanigans than I do. His first words to me when we talked were "Did LMP talk to you?"

the phantom 05-02-2007 01:14 PM

And before you ask, lmp, I didn't think you'd tell Fea anything important.

I just thought you'd tease her. Something like...

LMP: Bye, Fea, I'll talk to you later. I'm off to see if tp's posted on ATM II yet.

Fea: What? Why? Is tp going to post?

LMP: I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see.

Fea: Okay, just what are you on about?

LMP: *clears throat* Oh, nothing... nothing at all. Mardil's not- I mean I'm not up to anything. *wink* Later.

Fea: You little-
lmp has signed off

littlemanpoet 05-02-2007 01:49 PM

Hee hee! :D Well shoot, that would have been fun. Wish I'd have thought of it. :)

Hookbill the Goomba 05-03-2007 03:39 PM

How far are we from th'end of the battle? I'd like to know because there are several key things I want to happen to some of my characters before it ends. And the aftermath for Smilog will require a long post. :o

Feanor of the Peredhil 05-04-2007 07:44 PM

Le Fantom, is Roggie supposed to be responding? Or is there something else to be waiting for? My brain's shot...

the phantom 05-04-2007 11:15 PM

It would be fine to have Roggie trying to figure out what Mardil is up to, and sending out patrols to try and catch Bergil and his team of smugglers.

I actually want Roggie to catch Bergil leaving Mordor (I'll pm you about it), but not just yet.

Okay.

Hookbill the Goomba 05-16-2007 03:18 AM

Erm... Is anyone else posting in the game anymore? :(

I'm going to make a post as soon as I can, but don't expect any big plot twists or anything. Possibly reveal something about Khuz's past or something, I don't know.

I'm waiting to see what the phantom has going on, because he only informs me when he feels like it.

As for everybody else, Hooky's right. Hellooooo?

littlemanpoet 05-16-2007 10:16 AM

This is one of the few things I'm doing at the Downs lately, and I"m waiting to figure out what the heck is going on myself.

the phantom 05-16-2007 03:34 PM

I'll be posting tonight or tomorrow morning. Mardil's plan will be fully revealed. It will be a major stroke, and Roggie will be ticked. But before he has time to do anything too crazy, Mardil will extend an olive branch.

We'll just have to see if Roggie takes it.

I'll talk to you about it, Vesper. If I don't catch you on IM late tonight or during the day tomorrow, I'll pm you.

PM me. You won't find me unless my plans change unexpectedly.

Formendacil 05-16-2007 07:31 PM

I'm here... I guess....

I dunno, I really got knocked off of the writing waggon, at least with regards to any sort of fiction, with my broken leg, and I'm only just starting to recover my interest in such things. Mind you, Hyarmenwë et al have been neglected rather longer than that... but there were finals and Easter before that, if you want pathetic excuses.

I might--might--get a post up tonight, if a friend manages to keep me online long enough... but no promises. I really don't know what I'm doing, anyway, which is partly why I've put off posting so long, so I'm really on going on that vague feeling of guilt I get whenever I don't get around to something I ought to...

littlemanpoet 05-17-2007 09:35 AM

I've also been waiting for the celebratory Celuien (hey it alliterates!) to post... ;)

littlemanpoet 05-29-2007 01:53 PM

Hullo?

Elempi looks far to the north and far to the south for any sign of life.

Nothing.

H-hullooooo?

Elempi looks far to east and west. Nothing but desert. Everywhere.

Sauron? Are you back? What have you done with all my fellow writers?

Elempi whistles a lonely tune, trying to fill the void.

Humph. Not even Sauron. Morgoth? After all, this seems like the void.

Silence.

Any....... body.........?

Hookbill the Goomba 05-29-2007 02:12 PM

I personally am refraining from posting because, among other things, I don't want to look like I'm spamming the thread. :p

Feanor of the Peredhil 05-29-2007 09:26 PM

Sorry, I'm spastically trying to finish this term so I can go home. I don't know when I'll be legitimately available.

Celuien 06-05-2007 06:52 AM

More schedule issues

I'm going out of town this weekend, and when I get back, I need to move, so it may take awhile to sort out my Internet access after Friday. If I disappear for a couple of weeks, it's not permanent. :p

I'll see what I can do about adding to the tale of Panakeia and Elempi later today.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-06-2007 11:36 AM

One of the jokes I am planning is that the Farsegul are really easy to kill. They all have an odd thing for their head, The Lord of the Farsegul has a potato and will be killed in a potato related way. If you want you characters to kill a Farsegul, give it a weird head and have it killed in an amusing or ironic way. :D

Diamond18 06-16-2007 06:33 PM

My Save, it is filled.

Child of the 7th Age 07-01-2007 01:34 AM

In the middle of a slow summer.....

With the shift over to the new version of the website, there have been some minor glitches, especially in terms of clicking on links and making them work. The admins are still ironing the bugs out. Meanwhile, BW suggested this. If you click on a link like rep or try to search a thread and can't get it to work, just right click on the link and open it in a new window.

I found this worked for me.

Celuien 07-03-2007 07:06 PM

Well, I'm back.

Internet problems have been solved, and I should be have something up tomorrow afternoon. Finally.

Thanks for your patience. :)
