Err surely the courtship phase is over? And engagement surely by definition happens when the date of marriage is more or less decided (ie engaged to be married at that date ? ) Or maybe I am hopelessly old fashioned :D ? Some of the most successful relationships I know were established after quite short courtships - much more positive, than a lot of dripping about, (in Middle Earth cf Faramir and Eowyn and Aldarion and Erendis ).....

Anyway that is by the by Congratulations!!!!!

As far as the date goes, we're looking at December 13th (or the nearest available date to that) as that was the day we met.

Yes very cool for both of you and what an interesting story you will have to tell your children. I can picture their bedtime stories at night.

Marriage is great! Going on our 6th year and 2nd child soon and I love it all so much.

Now that I have a place in Gondor, I've been wondering if perhaps I could (ab)use that by starting a RPG there entitled An Unexpected Wedding... :smokin:

Afraid things have had to be put back till spring - for various reasons - I'll keep you updated. We're both very happy, the dress (which I haven't seen, of course) has been bought, & we're both looking forward to the big day :)

More like the Long-Expected Wedding then!

It is, of course, green, and comes with a hooded cloak, right?

Oh, and riding boots, there has to be a pair of travel-stained riding boots!
