Well, you can count me in. I may not be here in the full, as in like I once was, but I shall make my presence known, make no mistake of that. ;)

I shall be, in 'real life', a Clergyman. And for my roleplaying alter-ego: a Cowardly Knight.

I do have one question: When you say one retractable vote, do you mean we can retract it only once, or we get one vote that is infinitely retractable?

Anguirel 11-07-2006 01:50 AM

Jenny, I don't know if Fea's game will clash with this one, but if so, I'm in a spot of bother. I've been sworn to Fea's game for aeons. So I'm afraid I might have to withdraw. I'll let you know for certain if I can play by Friday.

JennyHallu 11-07-2006 06:36 AM

Only problem with that, Ang, is that the game is set to start tomorrow. We'll just cross that fence when we come to it, I suppose.

JennyHallu 11-07-2006 06:38 AM

Gurthang:

You can change your vote only once each day.

Nogrod 11-07-2006 06:38 AM

I still believe it will take time for Fea's game to start. There seemed to be four players right now...

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-07-2006 07:24 AM

I am happy to tell that I have been headhunted for this game! Probably just because people wanted to get the game going, but I am still awfully proud of it.
:p

So can I be a headhunter ?

EDIT: Sorry that will of course be a Temp. Headhunter. . . (wonder how that works)

JennyHallu 11-07-2006 09:15 AM

Is headhunter your real life or fantasy occupation? And what is the other?

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-07-2006 09:19 AM

In real life I am a temp. I do random work. . .mostly postal stuff.

Headhunter would be fantasy. . . but really I don't mind if you just assign me something.

JennyHallu 11-07-2006 09:40 AM

Well, then, you're sort of a headhunter.

Oh, by the by, I'm adding a cobbler. Why, do you ask? Because I feel like it, that's why.

Sign-ups are closed. I'm sending out roles, and then I'll make up a game thread.

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-07-2006 05:50 PM

OK something has come up. . .I will be working 12 hours both Thursday and Friday.

This means I my time will be limited in this period, I will be around just not as much as I would like. . . .

JennyHallu 11-08-2006 11:26 AM

This is just to remind everyone (cough*RUNE*cough) that they need to be invisible.

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-08-2006 11:30 AM

hehe. . .I forgot that I turned it off after the last game.

Valier 11-08-2006 11:32 AM

just to let everyone know that I will be slightly more quiet in this game then I have been in the past. I work and my hours are weird, so some days I will have more time than others and I may have to vote early alot of days. :)

JennyHallu 11-08-2006 11:42 AM

Well, I'll add that on the 18th and perhaps the 19th (depending), Folwren will be opening/closing/whatever the days. I'll be moving.

And I'b sick, so I'b talkn knd ob odd. Fair warnn.

Valier 11-08-2006 01:56 PM

I just had to say that in your narration Jenny, you say I have a mohawk.....You have no idea how much that made me laugh....I have a fauxhawk in real life. Just thought I would share that with you. :D

Volo 11-09-2006 09:31 AM

I'll be away in the northern wastes for the weekend. The village, Tampere, is so far from the sivilized world that they don't even have walls there, not to mention the internet...

Farael 11-09-2006 04:20 PM

Sorry Folks... I thought Jenny was in my same timezone, but it seems I'm an hour behind. I thought I had a good hour to post and I was reading all that had been said.... but as it turned out, I got home right on the deadline.

Won't happen again.

JennyHallu 11-10-2006 08:56 AM

I will write yesterday's narration this evening, but I promise it will get done.

Rikae 11-13-2006 01:14 PM

I just wanted to take the opportunity to explain my lack of participation... I was unable to get to the computer until late on Day 1, and only got home too near the deadline to contribute much, since I didn't really have time to go over the previous posts. I would normally not be a 'quiet' player, and if I had lived, I would have been much more active in subsequent days. I hope I won't be banned from WW for being so annoying. :(

JennyHallu 11-13-2006 01:19 PM

No one has ever been banned from werewolf, and unless a mod specifies that his or her game is closed to public sign-ups, as Fea's game was, you're welcome to sign up for whatever game you please. I did not feel your participation to be annoying in any way.

People play at different levels...some, like Gil-Galad post briefly only once or twice a day, and others, like Thinlomien, post reams of thought and information once an hour at least.

Either approach is fine...

The only consideration I think a player should take into account before signing up for a game is whether he or she has time to be as loud a villager as he or she wishes to be.

I will be the first to apologise if you have taken any ill-feelings from my declaration of annoyance with your first post. I didn't like the way you popped in and just voted for the most talked of player at the time with nothing else. Afterwards you came up with your reasons and I was totally satisfied with them. And surely one has a right to just pop in and vote - and others have a right to dislike that gameplay-style (which you were not into as it turned out after I had reacted to your vote)... :D

But really. Don't take those things personally or anything. They are things people say in a game where they try to do something (helping the village or trying to bring it down against others with their own motives).

I have seen no bans on the WW. One case was near it, but it was more a question of abrasiveness to the fullest, not for inactivity or things like that which can be looked as preferences in style...

Thinlómien 11-13-2006 03:10 PM

Yeah, Rikae, don't take it too seriously, it's just a game. :) Besides, I don't think anyone has anything against you or your playing style. (I've seen a lot more quiet and a lot more annoying - you even weren't annoying btw - villagers and they have never been banned.)

I'm flattered of being used as an example, but I really think I'm not that bad... :p

JennyHallu 11-13-2006 04:32 PM

I figured the flood posting made up for actual regularity.

Thinlómien 11-15-2006 05:54 AM

I'm back home so my votes will again be quite early.

EDIT: thus I won't post anything today anymore (most probably)

Volo 11-17-2006 04:18 PM

Do you know what I want to say? Do you? It's rude... Know now? It's in Balrogish... Now? No? Well... Zwei to you too!

I've just got my Valier-summary ready and was rather happy with it (having more "I told you. I told you! But you didn't believe me"s in it). I thought that the day would end an hour later, but it didn't, so Zwei! You won't see the summary anymore, luck :p
