I'm with all you secretive people. My age is not leaking out, but I'll say that I'm between 12 and 37, which seem to be the brackets

ilaria 12-26-2002 12:37 AM

i'm 18 years old

lathspell 12-26-2002 03:05 PM

I'm from may '84, so that makes me 18 and mature

greetings,
lathspell

vanwalossien 12-26-2002 03:20 PM

Well, I'll be 16 in some months, but I have problems acting my age. Here in Norway we have a word for it called 'veslevoksen', loosely translated it means 'stupid little kid who tries to be grown up'.

Schmendrick 12-26-2002 03:54 PM

I'm 25 and I have a serious age crisis! Nearer to 30 than 20!!!!I certainly don't feel (nor act) like it!

Carlas 12-26-2002 04:16 PM

Im 13 feel special!!!

Cherie Centaur 12-26-2002 04:43 PM

Alas! I can't say my age. A sorceress put a nasty spell to keep me from blabbing it on the internet.

nuguernachil 12-26-2002 06:17 PM

would say my age but have obsessive-compulsive fear of stalkers... i'm a teenager, i'll give ya that.

AddictedtoRumil 12-27-2002 02:05 AM

HammerTime 12-27-2002 04:15 AM

Marileangorifurnimaluim 12-27-2002 05:01 AM

35.

lindil, I believe our Barrow-downs Pension Trust is funded by advance purchases of the 'Revised Silmarillion,' and invested heavily in... uh-oh.

Alkanoonion 12-27-2002 05:50 AM

The great event of my birth was in the year 1976 on the 31st October at 11:59:59 pm.

I feel like I am still 10

Finiel 12-28-2002 05:20 AM

I'm 18 but I feel like I'm still 15 but sometimes I'm acting like a five year old kid but I try to act like I'm 18 when I'm with adults... wait...I am an adult or something. Am I going in circles?

i hate numbers...

Ar-Gilien 12-28-2002 09:21 PM

Too old enough to be considered a child, and too young enough to be looked upon as an elder. Oh darn the luck!

Galadrie1 12-28-2002 10:15 PM

Alkanoonian! I keep learning more about you and it's ruining my image of you being a big kangaroo that has magical powers (blame your old avatar for that one ).

Now, as for my age.... Well, I've posted it around the forum a lot, so if you really want to know (and I know you don't), stop being lazy and go do some research!

I'm 16. Don't feel it though. Seems like childhood was just a dream- ever get that feeling? Lol.
Good quote for ya:

"Sweet childish days, that were as long as twenty days are now."
William Wordsworth.

Bill Ferny 12-29-2002 12:09 PM

Not quite as old as my tongue, but older than my teeth.

Child of the 7th Age 12-31-2002 08:26 AM

I am from the first generation of Tolkien lovers in the U.S., the college students with flowers in our hair, who fell in love with the book in the late 60s. As such, I am the senior statesman here. Let's just say I qualify along with Frodo and Bilbo and those hobbits who ran off on adventures at the magic age of 50.

Pension fund? Yes, that would be nice. But why can't I retire to Rivendell the way Master Bilbo did?

Eruwen 12-31-2002 10:15 AM

I am 15. That's pretty much it. Just 15. (If you'd like to know more, then just read the topic Tigerlily gave you the link to.) Other than that, let's just keep it at 15.

Helkahothion 12-31-2002 10:27 AM

Well let's see. If you would count me on your fingers you will be five fingers short.

Daewen 01-01-2003 06:11 PM

Wow...I feel really immature. I'm only 14. I had no idea you all were so much older than me. Maybe i'm mature for my age.

Auriel Haevasawen 01-04-2003 05:06 PM

Thirty-one although ever since I was a small child I found birthdays rather depressing so I stopped celebrating them when I was twenty-five.
I'm afraid I don't have a beard but I can sit on my hair!

Manardariel 01-04-2003 05:27 PM

Daewen-you consider us immature? With that documentary thread? Well, again, it might prove just how immature we are...

Mandos 01-04-2003 06:22 PM

oh well, might as well, im 15 but more mature than my fellow Floridan friends.

Brinniel 01-05-2003 04:17 AM

Well, well, well. I have to say I found those guesses on my age quite interesting.

I begin to wonder if I should actually give away my age (for those who do not know yet). Well, here's a hint: I was born on June 28 somewhere between 1980 and 1990. Though I don't think that hint will be very helpful.

The Human Of Our Time 01-07-2003 05:56 PM

I just turned 17 early in December. I should be finished reading Return of the King very soon!
