Everard Took and Melilot Brandybuck

alaklondewen 02-24-2003 09:38 AM

What an excellent choice of people! I see them in the family trees of the Tooks and Brandybucks, but I'm not finding mention of them anywhere. Can you give me a direction? Which book they are mentioned in, maybe?

Manardariel 02-24-2003 09:58 AM

They danced on the table during Bilbo´s speech on that Birthday Party

Liriodendron 02-24-2003 12:17 PM

Yes, that's it! The impertinent young hobbits who couldn't wait for Bilbo to finish speaking! (I tried to think of some names that wouldn't be in a Middle Earth type index.) Next!

alaklondewen 03-01-2003 06:10 PM

Unless there is another Baldor, he did die in the Paths of the Dead. He was the oldest son of the second King of Rohan during the time when Meduseld was built. It was said that during the feast of celebration for the completion of Meduseld, Baldor announced that he would walk the Paths of the Dead. However, he passed the doors never to be seen again by any in Rohan.

Manardariel 03-01-2003 06:36 PM

oooops, that was a missunderstanding then. I ment Baldor, who brought the Red arrow to Rohan, but he was onviously nnmaed afer the other one my bad, so sorry. Anny one of you can go...
