Hello people.......
Ok this definately sounds like BoromirI think.

Leah2 01-10-2003 04:50 PM

You got it.. Take it away..

alaklondewen 01-16-2003 05:21 PM

bump...I like the idea of this going one chapter at a time. It has been over a week, so the floor is open.

The Wise may have good reason to believe that the halfling's trove is indeed the Great Ring of long debate, unlikely though that may seem to those who know less.

Beren87 01-17-2003 11:48 AM

Galdor of the Havens to Elrond.

Aratlithiel 01-17-2003 11:58 AM

Thankee-sai. (OK, so I'm a Stephen King nut too.)

'Tis your turn, Beren87.

Beren87 01-17-2003 12:00 PM

*bows in courtesy* thank you.

Here, my friends,

Elrond to the company:
Quote:

Here, my friends, is the hobbit, Frodo son of Drogo

Beren87 01-17-2003 02:56 PM

Correct alaklondewen!

My this topic is easy when coming from only one chapter.

alaklondewen 01-17-2003 03:31 PM

I think it is a great way to get to know a chapter with a little more depth.

Yes, I have come,

Beren87 01-17-2003 03:39 PM

True, from a learning standpoint (which is in my opinion the main point of these games, for I have learned countless amounts of information participating). But from a game point of view, it makes it very easy.

Gandalf recounting his "episode" with Saruman, where he was speaking to him.

.You are right as usual.. I agree that this is easy, but it is nice to have an easy one once in a while. You're up.

For the folk of Arnor

Russandol 01-20-2003 10:14 AM

Elrond, as part of the history lecture to the rest of the council.

Quote:

For the folk of Arnor dwindled, and their foes devoured them, and their lordship passed, leaving only green mounds in the grassy hills.

alaklondewen 01-21-2003 08:28 PM

Beren? I thought you may have forgotten this thread, and I'm only reminding you because I know you are logged on a lot.

Beren87 01-21-2003 08:32 PM

Aye, thank ye. I did forget this thread. (a lot? that's putting it mildly I think )

And your correct Russandol!

Russandol 01-22-2003 11:45 AM

Thank you Beren....

Yet we would not have it otherwise.

alaklondewen 01-22-2003 12:54 PM

Ah, this is Aragorn describing the life of the Rangers.

Russandol 01-22-2003 01:08 PM

It sure is. Your go

alaklondewen 01-22-2003 05:10 PM

Thank you.

Gandalf was quoteing Saruman who was speaking to Gandalf.

alaklondewen 01-22-2003 09:38 PM

Great job! You're up.

Beren87 01-22-2003 11:37 PM

Lovely!

Quote:

my quest was ended

Lostgaeriel 01-23-2003 12:22 AM

That is Gandalf speaking after he has recounted the contents of Isildur's scroll. Gandalf had found the method of testing if Frodo's ring was the One Ring - the quest he had set out upon.

Quote:

'When I read these words, my quest was ended. For the traced writing was indeed as Isildur guessed, in the tongue of Mordor and the servants of the Tower. And what was said therein was already known.

Beren87 01-23-2003 12:26 AM

Good Job Lostgaeriel! And a cookie for all the extra information! *hands her a cookie*

Lostgaeriel 01-30-2003 01:07 PM

Mmmm. *chomps away in a very un-elf-like way* Thanks for the cookie. Could use some milk or miruvor to wash it down, though!

Quote:

I will do that

alaklondewen 01-31-2003 10:07 AM

It is Gandalf quoting Radagast. Gandalf asked him to send out messages to all beasts and birds that were his friends to bring news to Isengard.

Lostgaeriel 01-31-2003 10:13 PM

Yes. There's no fooling you, alaklondewen. Would you like a wafer of lembas? Or an apple? *wheeling snack cart thru the Council*

[ January 31, 2003: Message edited by: Lostgaeriel ]

alaklondewen 02-01-2003 08:16 PM

Ooh. I could go for some miruvor! Oh, and I'll take an apple, too. You never know when you might run into Bill Ferny around here.

At this we were greatly troubled,

Beren87 02-01-2003 10:29 PM

Gloin, recounting the message that the rider from Sauron brought Dain.

alaklondewen 02-02-2003 08:23 AM

Right as always! You are next.

Beren87 02-26-2003 10:09 PM

Oops, sorry about the wait.

Quote:

but not too long

Legolas 03-06-2003 01:02 AM

Gloin quoting a disguised Sauron as he was trying to deceive Dain Ironfoot.

Beren87 03-06-2003 01:06 AM

That it would be. Your go.

Legolas 03-06-2003 01:20 AM

Quote:

I had not named you, but I do so now.

alaklondewen 03-06-2003 05:48 AM

This is Elrond to Bilbo, after Bilbo jumps up and asks if they can eat before he speaks.

Legolas 03-06-2003 07:38 AM

Yes.
