Oh! Definately Helm's Deep and the Dead Marshes!! Sam's speech at the end made me cry, too! But I think the saddest part was when all the boys were having armor put on them. That was so sad! It really showed the despair they were feeling. To have to put the small boys in to fight against the 10,000 Uruk-hai.<BR>---------------<BR>"Don't tell the Elf." Hehehehehehe!!!:: PT falls over in her chair laughing::

@Toss me!<BR>@We have decided..........yes??? EWH that was gross and the only part i disliked.<BR>i should stop now before i use up the whole page

I've only seen it once. I'll probably wait till the kids go back to school for my second view. I REALLY like the part when Aragorn steps out, calls to the riders of Rohan, and they turn back, circle round (with the spears). Eomer asks what a man, dwarf, and elf are doing in the Riddermark. There is still the feeling of the Fellowship of the Ring, the mingling of the races is ominous, the introduction of Eomer is exciting, the horses are a little scary, the tension is high...I love it!
The scene with gollum/sam/frodo and the two rabbits was best. It was kind of familiar to me, the first time in the movie i had the feeling that this was really based on the book.
Ooh, I loved when Pippin first sees Treebeard, its HILARIOUS! Anything with Pip and Merry was great.'Don't talk to it Merry, Don't encourage it!' <BR>Sam's speech thing 'Don't you know your Sam?' oh I was so teary eyed<BR>Helm's deep was amazing as well, and those poor boys having to fight.<BR>When Gandalf comes with Eomer on the slope was pretty cool as well.
Lets see, I liked the whole movie but my favs were:<BR>-Toss me, don't tell the elf!<BR>-Pippin telling treebeard to go south<BR>-Gollum talking to himself<BR>-Everything that Gimli says
one of my favorite seens was when elrond was talking to atrwen it was so sad
I agree with all of the points you made Luinėcolloien, the BEST part is when the horn blows and Legolas says "That is no orc horn!", and then Elves march in, the music is AMAZING at that part.
King_Elessar you are absolutely right! That scene is also my fave scene...I love it!
Yes yes! King_Elessar. I love that part too...elves all lined up and geared for battle! I love everything about the movie!! Especially scenes where Gollum/Smeagol would argue...it was awesome!

sams speach in osgilith<BR>arwen talking to her father about aragorn<BR>helms deep<BR>eowyn and wormtonge<BR>gandlafs last speach about the war oof middle earth
I love the scene in Helm's deep with the charge of Aragorn and the elven warriors. I love Sam's speech, and the Ents destroying Isengard, both brought tears to my eyes, as well. I really liked the scene with Arwen and Elrond, as well.
I also liked ANY scene with Eowyn or Gimli.
I have many favorites but I really like this part.......<BR>Gimli: Toss me! <BR>Aragorn: What! <BR>Gimli: I cannot jump the distance. You'll have to toss me. <BR>[beat] <BR>Gimli: Don't tell the elf!<P>I was laughing so hard!! I really like anything with Gimli in it.<BR>
The battle of Helms Deep was my fav part. They portrayed it very well.
my fave sceen was the battle of helms deep. i especially liked the parts of that where Legolas and Gimli are competing to see who can kill the most orcs.
I liked the scene where the Ents crashes Isengard... It was just as I had imagined it when I read the book... I also loved Gollum, Frodo and Sam when they are struggling down Emyn Muil... But I loved the whole movie, eventhough I got a little disappointed.. Far too high expectations I guess...
