Yeah, actually I had Bilbo because Holman was his gardener before his adventure. About my avatar... I got so used to the old one, and it is a tough change but too many people were mistaking me for a Matrix fan, or a super LotR-movie* fan, or a mix. The new one is tough getting used too though...:confused: :rolleyes:

*Yes, yes, the movies are great, but I prefer to thought of as a fan of the books as i was before I ever heard about the movies.

NightKnight 10-27-2004 03:42 AM

I see....

Barliman -> Manwë

No ainur or Glorfindel.

Firefoot 10-27-2004 05:05 AM

Barliman -> Frodo -> Elrond -> Eärendil -> Manwë?

NightKnight 10-27-2004 09:40 AM

Perfect. :)

Nilpaurion Felagund 11-10-2004 07:50 PM

*bump*

Firefoot?

Teehee! You typed "bimp"! Bronevaya Maschina Piekhota.

I changed it!

Firefoot 11-10-2004 08:30 PM

D'oh!

Sancho Proudfoot --> Eärnur.

You can use one link that is not a person.

Lindolirian 11-11-2004 06:38 AM

Sancho-> Bilbo-> (Rivendell)-> Glorfindel-> Eärnur

Firefoot 11-11-2004 05:40 PM

That'll work.

Lindolirian 11-13-2004 04:04 PM

Uinéniel-> Gloin
This thread almost died *gasp* (amazing, I know) on this question once, but I think this group of quizzers will make easy work of it.
No Galadriel, Elrond, Celeborn, Thranduil, or Ainur...

Fingolfin II 11-13-2004 07:04 PM

Uinéniel -> Aldarion -> Cirdan -> Frodo -> Gloin?

Lindolirian 11-14-2004 12:29 PM

See, no problem at all... I wonder why it was so hard two years ago.:rolleyes:

Good work, Fingolfin!

Fingolfin II 11-15-2004 12:33 AM

Cheers Lindo.

Ok, hmm....

Arwen -> Aule

No Ainur or places- people only.

Lindolirian 11-15-2004 06:31 AM

Arwen-> Elrond-> Maglor-> Feanor-> (Mahtan)-> Aulë

Fingolfin II 11-16-2004 12:27 AM

Works for me.

Lindolirian 11-17-2004 07:16 AM

Gimli-> Angrim
No Elves or Ainur and more than one object.

NightKnight 11-17-2004 04:22 PM

This is one of my favorite threads to answer, yet I hate making questions for it. :p

Gimli -> Aragorn -> Ring of Barahir -> Barahir -> Gorlim -> Angrim

Lindolirian 11-18-2004 10:20 AM

I know what you mean. So is it unfortunate that you are correct?

NightKnight 11-19-2004 01:00 PM

I guess it is, but it also proves I rock. :D

FIngon -> Ugluk

Lindolirian 11-19-2004 01:30 PM

Ha! Everyone who plays this this game rocks...;)
Fingon-> Turgon-> Earendil-> Elrond-> Merry-> Ugluk

nobody 12-04-2004 11:21 AM

10 days thing

I'm back!
Morgoth -> Saelon

Nanedhel 12-04-2004 04:26 PM

Morgoth -> Sauron -> Herumor -> Saelon

nobody 12-05-2004 02:00 AM

Well, we don't know for sure if it was the same Herumor in the second age and in the new shadow, and also we don't know if Saelon ever actually met him.

Nanedhel 12-05-2004 11:00 AM

You have a good point, nobody. I will try a different route.

Morgoth -> Sauron -> Frodo -> Pippin -> Beregond -> Borlas -> Saelon

nobody 12-05-2004 11:03 AM

Well, you didn't really need Frodo- Sauron 'met' Pippin through the Palantir, whereas he didn't meet Frodo.So you could either have yours without Frodo or this one:
Morgoth ->Galadriel ->Pippin ->Bergil/Beregond ->Borlas->Saelon.
Your turn.

Nanedhel 12-06-2004 09:33 PM

The Witch King of Angmar -> The Lord of the Nazgul. And to make more it interesting, start at his defeat and go to his destruction.

(I know they are supposed to be the same individual, but I am taking a chance that that is not against the rules.)

Nilpaurion Felagund 12-06-2004 09:49 PM

You mean like this?

Witch-King -> Glorfindel -> Merry -> Éowyn -> Lord of the Nazgûl

Nanedhel 12-07-2004 04:46 PM

Perfect, Nilpaurion Felagund. Actually, that is better than the route I had in mind.:p Your turn.

Nilpaurion Felagund 12-07-2004 09:38 PM

Thanks, nanedhel!

Hmmm . . .

Voronwë -> Boromir

No half-elfs. http://www.geocities.com/louis_martian/smilies/evil.gif

Fingolfin II 12-07-2004 10:28 PM

I'm assuming you mean Boromir of the Nine Walkers, so-

Voronwe -> Tuor -> Idril -> Galadriel -> Boromir?

Nilpaurion Felagund 12-07-2004 10:42 PM

Idril and Galadriel?

Explain.

Idril was not born in Middle-earth.

Oh.

And yes, I meant "of the Nine Walkers". Sorry.

http://forum.barrowdowns.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif Take it.

Fingolfin II 12-07-2004 11:15 PM

Cheers,

Alatáriel -> Uinéniel

Try it without linking any descendants of Finwe in between. No Cirdan either ;).

Nilpaurion Felagund 12-08-2004 02:19 AM

Alatáriel -> Tinúviel -> Elwing -> Tar-Minyatur -> Tar-Amandil -> Írimon -> Uinéniel(?)

Fingolfin II 12-08-2004 02:29 AM

Nope :confused:. Sorry, too long and had descendants of Finwe between. This is a bit of a toughie I think :cool:.

Nilpaurion Felagund 12-08-2004 02:58 AM

I think I got it!

Alatáriel -> Melian -> Thingol -> Olwë -> Any of those Elves who visited their wedding -> Uinéniel

Am I right? *fingers crossed*

Fingolfin II 12-08-2004 04:12 AM

You had a different and better way than me. Though I'm pretty sure Galadriel met Thingol and Olwe.

Anyway, I yield thee this here thread (I'll never make a herald :rolleyes: ). Take it, Nil!

Nilpaurion Felagund 12-08-2004 10:12 PM

Yes, I realised that Galadriel and Olwë met just after I left.

Oh, well. I still GOT IT!!! YEEEEE-HAW!

OK . . .

Ahem. *composes self* Let's do this again.

Voronwë -> Boromir of the Fellowship

No half-elfs, or Gondolindrim. http://www.geocities.com/louis_martian/smilies/evil.gif

Lindolirian 12-09-2004 06:35 AM

Voronwë-> Cirdan-> Erestor-> Boromir

nobody 12-09-2004 10:14 AM

Don't you mean Galdor, not Erestor?

Nilpaurion Felagund 12-09-2004 09:28 PM

I do hope you mean Galdor, Lindo.

*shrugs* Oh, well. I'm in a good mood today. I'll accept that. :)

Lindolirian 12-10-2004 10:01 PM

Erm, well... Of course I meant Galdor! I was only testing you... :rolleyes: Ahem.
You are too kind.
Orophin-> Ossë
None of the Fellowship and no Galadriel, Celeborn, or Ainu (except Ossë of course)
