Pippin Pondlily 08-25-2004 03:41 PM

Whoa! We're underway. Sorry!! But I'm here now and will read all the posts RIGHT now and post RIGHT now for Haven.

- P. Pondlily

Firefoot 08-25-2004 04:01 PM

Morsul - I wouldn't exactly expect him to be happy. ;) Looks good.

Pippin Pondlily 08-25-2004 04:47 PM

Okay I tried to think of some really brilliant, creative way to bring Haven into all of that but that's all I got. If what I did is a no-go just tell me and I'll think of something else. Hopefully it's okay?

By the way, thanks for accepting me into the RPG Crystal, it looks fantastic! And sorry I'm late.

- P. Pondlily

The Perky Ent 08-25-2004 04:50 PM

Ok! Time to back the things! I'll rendevous at your house, Firefoot! More fighting to come!

The Perky Ent 08-25-2004 08:52 PM

Mon économiser est rempli, mais pas fini ! Je obtiennent des
autres dedans plus tard!

Morsul the Dark 08-25-2004 09:13 PM

Thanks Perky I wanted to show Sam's good side but I didn't know how, you set it up for me I hope you like my next addition

starkat 08-26-2004 06:58 PM

Sorry I've been so quiet lately. School started this week and things have been a little crazy. I'm also at a loss for what to write. All that's left for this week is for the company to head for the estate right?

Crystal Heart 08-27-2004 06:55 AM

I liked the post Pippin it was really great. I also apologize for not posting.... I'll post now.

I really like the fight of thought with Sam... Very interesting indeed!

Child of the 7th Age 08-27-2004 10:32 AM

Crystal,

Just want to say that your story is off to a good start! Good posting, folks....

Also, I've sent you a pm touching on something Starkat alluded to: the shift forward to the next "scene" where the good guys arrive at the estate. You'll want to take a look at the general schedule you developed with the proposal and make sure that you're staying on track.

Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out.

Crystal Heart 08-27-2004 10:46 AM

Thanks for the compliment! I feel that this game is really awesome myself, but I'm biased! lol.

Alrighty, to answer what you sent me through the PM about heading out to the estate:

I've been reading them, but I've got a massive headache today and need some help. Please tell me if you've posted. Also, I know that I need to post for Hama because he will be gone for the week.. He'll be back soon. So, I know about that, but everyone else could you just tell me if you've posted. I know I probably sound like an insane person but this headache is making it hard for me to actually think.

What I want to do is have everyone there in that special dining room thingie, have someone bring out weapons. Someone should say that we have enough horses and the like. Stay for the night and head out early the next morning..

How does that sound to everyone?

Child of the 7th Age 08-27-2004 12:00 PM

Child to the resuce with an aspirin and a list...

Here's the list of everyone who has posted since the game started:
  • Starkat
  • Crystal Heart
  • Firefoot
  • Arien
  • Perky Ent
  • Himaran
  • Morsul the Dark

I believe that's everyone but Hama....

Firefoot 08-27-2004 03:54 PM

Just out of curiosity, how long do you think it will take Sandrina and co. to reach the estate? And is there a general idea of what will happen next? Harold, Arthur, and Samuel will leave, heading somewhere, but then what?

The Perky Ent 08-27-2004 05:02 PM

Je obtiennent le poteau d'emballage pour Arthur dedans, et
rendevous ŕ Harold's

Firefoot 08-27-2004 05:24 PM

In English, please?

piosenniel 08-27-2004 05:43 PM

Yes - the French is good practice - but please provide an English translation.

Thanks!

~*~ Pio

The Perky Ent 08-27-2004 06:13 PM

Woah! I was speaking in French? Weird! I had no idea! That's really weird! Hmm...maybe I need to get my keyboard check. Wow! Anyways, I think I said I'll back Arthur up and meet at Harold's. Wow! I need to get my computer looked at!

The Perky Ent 08-27-2004 08:53 PM

Crystal, Cami, and for that matter everyone: I will be away for tomorrow and Sunday :( I'm going on a Student Council retreat as __th Grade Reprosentative. And as a must go, I will not be able to psot. But I'll get a post back in once I get back from the retreat on Sunday! Carry on!

Crystal Heart 08-28-2004 05:24 AM

That's okay Perky Ent... Have fun on the retreat. Sounds like fun! We can plow ahead a little with the good guys over the weekend.

I must all tell you that I probably won't be on monday because I have to go to the doctor and stuff. Just wanting to tell you all!

starkat 08-28-2004 02:33 PM

I just added a bit. Will it work?

Pippin Pondlily 08-28-2004 03:52 PM

I dropped in a little post for Haven. If the party does need horses, you know, Haven would have no difficulty in acquiring some and housing those that would be unsuitable for their journey ... --which isn't too far is it...? Whatever you want, Crystal.

Himaran 08-28-2004 09:57 PM

Two points:

Raen offered Sandrina one of his knives... and she took it, naturely. (You'll find it in her belt, Chrystal. ;) )

Secondly, Raen noticed a lone horseman leaving the town. He presumed it was a messenger, sending a message back to the estate that Sandrina and the others were en route. If you want me to change/remove that, let me know.

Crystal Heart 08-29-2004 07:22 AM

Everyone's posts look good and I agree.

Liked the twist Himiran.... I added one of my own ;-)

Firefoot 08-29-2004 09:51 AM

I think my question was missed accidentally... I will repeat it here.

I was thinking too, that it might be interesting if Harold, Arthur, and Samuel were delayed in leaving, perhaps by not being able to hire mercenaries in time or some such. Give tensions time to increase and all that good stuff. :D

Crystal Heart 08-30-2004 06:04 PM

Sorry Firefoot! Okay I'll answer your question really quick.

First, I agree with stalling them. Do something that makes it more difficult to leave. Add more tension. You can add whatever tension or new twist that you want at any time. That goes not only for Firefoot, but everyone else. If you have an idea about sprucing up something or making it that much more intriguing go for it. You don't have to ask me every time you want to. It would take forever for anything to get really good. Just follow your hearts in your writing and allow it to take you wherever it will. You all have free reign, just don't kill anyone in the process if you please, lol :-) .

As to your second question the quest to the estate itself wouldn't take very long. I was thinking a couple of days, a week tops. With the twists and turns you dear people can come up with, the timing in this is semi-completely up to you at this point. If you add people jumping out at the good guys, then it will take a little longer to get around that block. As of right now, we have a block. Sandrina's memories..... and how she is now on the ground asking Raen for help. That's our block at this point. Once we get around this "road bump" then we can proceed to other twists and turns in the plot of our story. So, thus the timing is up to us. I was thinking at looking at about a week for that portion of the story. I thought that because of the twists and turns that I was certain each character would bring to the RPG.

With that being said, I would like to wish you all a happy Monday Evening in my neck of the world.

Until we speak again,

Crystal Heart

The Perky Ent 08-31-2004 06:05 PM

I'm back baby!

I'm back and i'm ready! Morsul, I've done a sorta set up post. Now you can tell Arthur your true feelings!

Firefoot 09-01-2004 05:49 PM

I have moved Harold into town to hire some mercenaries. My next post will probably pick up with him leaving after some frustrating bargaining with them. Be warned Perky and Morsul, he will be in a temper. (What else is new? ;) )

The Perky Ent 09-01-2004 06:28 PM

"But father, why? Why do you do such mean things? " "Because I can! Now shut up and pack my horse :p "

Child of the 7th Age 09-01-2004 10:45 PM

Crystal,

Please check your pms and get back to me at your convenience on the timing of the outline.

Cami, game mod

Crystal Heart 09-02-2004 10:50 AM

Child I read the PM and here is my response:

Everyone I have decided that we need to be at the estate by Tuesday after Labor Day Weekend. So, let's get everything ready-weapons and horses and the like. Finish up by at least 12:00 PST time, finish up with the Inn I mean. We will need at least a good couple of days to get to the estate with the delays that are sure to happen.

-Crystal-

Child of the 7th Age 09-02-2004 12:36 PM

Crystal,

Sounds good! I am looking forward to reading some well written posts, especially the scene where the villains ride out the back door just as you good folk are coming in the front....

Cami

starkat 09-02-2004 12:53 PM

So for our next posts, our characters need to gether their things and meet to leave correct?

Firefoot 09-02-2004 02:46 PM

Ooh, that could be good! The baddies are delayed so much that they get an extremely short lead on the good guys (an hour or so, perhaps they are alerted by someone...).

Arien 09-03-2004 05:08 AM

Hama check your PM's please.

Himaran 09-03-2004 09:59 AM

Yes - a rider just left the town where Sandrina & Co. are staying. Perhaps the baddies can have him alert them... when the time is right.

Firefoot 09-03-2004 03:46 PM

Perky - I haven't seen Morsul around lately (the Members List says he hasn't been here for about a week) so I am wondering if he is having computer problems or something. Maybe you want to finish up that conversation and just carry Sam along? I think we will be needing to move the Baddie's time on to the next day very soon. If there is a problem with any of this, Crystal, let me know.

starkat 09-03-2004 05:49 PM

Would somebody look over my recent story post. I'm kind of uncertain about it. Please let me know if it doesn't work or I need to change something. Thanks.

Pippin Pondlily 09-03-2004 09:40 PM

Things have taken quite an unexpected turn in my life at the moment and I've had an impossibly chaotic week. So I'm taking a two-day vacation leaving early tomorrow morning. I will be back Monday morning and since I do not have classes (labor day) I will get all caught up and post accordingly then.

I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience but it's rather unavoidable you know... :( I am enthusiastic about this RPG so I promise not to let you down, Crystal and everyone.

Until Monday then,

P. Pondlily

Morsul the Dark 09-04-2004 11:47 AM

yes I am sorry for my absence unfortunately my computer found it good to break down I am in the public library right now however I do not know how often I can come here so perhaps sam should be killed off so you dont have to carry him along for too long?

Morsul the Dark 09-04-2004 12:25 PM

Perky Sam is very mad at Arthur the incident with Grimbol has sent him over the edge I propose you kill him off now, I don't know when I can post again so this may make things flow easier in the game. Sorry I was enjoying this but because my computer is evil I can't do anything else

Firefoot 09-04-2004 01:05 PM

I don't think killing off Sam would be a good idea. I wouldn't mind carrying Sam along, and I'm sure Perky would comply. You can post when you get to a computer. Sorry about your computer, btw.
