Of the house of Beor. She married Huor and gave birth to Tuor. After Huor's death she died of grief on Haudh-en-Ndengin. Of course being Tuor's mother makes her Turin's aunt and Earendil's grandmother. (plus I'm pushing my wife into naming our daughter Rian. She's due in Sept)

Daughter of Thingol, High King of Elves and Melian, one of the Ainu. Thought to be the most beautiful Elf that ever lived. Helped Beren get into Angaband and steal one of the Silmarils off the crown of Melkor, or Morgoth as he was known then. Later married Beren and then died. She was later given the choice to live again and disappear out of the World once Beren and she died again.

Samwise:
The loyal companion of Frodo. He risked his life to follow Frodo into Mordor to destroy the Ring. Once gardener at Bag-End, later mayor of the Shire.
