The what fo what? I am actually quite excited. That is the first time I've seen a screaming orli fan post. Maybe it's because I don't go to the Movies much? (Although I have to admit it sounds like too much. Perhaps it's a guise of the BW?)

VanimaEdhel 05-21-2003 04:02 PM

Actually, they got their speak wrong. It should probably be "off the heezie fo sheezie". I don't know what "heezie" is supposed to connote, but I know that "fo sheezie" means "for sure". Basically it means that he's "cool", or "neat", or "slammin'", or "hot", or "phat", or whatever term you want to use for it. How do I know this? I am a fifteen, almost sixteen-year old: I've heard the expression too many times. Does that clear up some things for you?

*Told with some embarrassment*

I accidentally sent a pm that I had never "layed a hobbit" (meaning played a hobbit) in an RPG...

GaladrieloftheOlden 05-29-2003 04:33 PM

Just to clarify from before, "off the heezie fo sheezie" is an expression that used to be rather old fashioned, but then was used in the song "Welcome to Atlanta Where the Players Play" and became everyday again. And the reference to "stoopid" people was interesting...

GaladrieloftheOlden 05-29-2003 10:25 PM

Interesting... typos on the typo thread... I think I just recently saw, on another thread, somebody misspell all 5 BDers' names that they had in a sentence, sorry, I can't remember which thread.

I had one a few days ago which I had forgotten to post, but I edited it immediately and later ended up deleting the post: it was about The Matrix (go figure), and I was mentioning the third movie, Matrix Revolutions. However, it was late, and I wasn’t really following my fingers, as otherwise I would have noticed that I had written “Matrix Revelations” till the post was up... agh.

I fear my spelling accuracy (or lack thereof) greatly warrants my mention on this thread. It really is a pity, but I tend to be quite lazy when it comes to things that I ought to (but don't want to) do. Just thinking of the innumerable amounts of spelling errors makes me utterly ashamed. In fact, I'm sure that every post I've written recently has at least 2 spelling errors in the text...

Silmarien 06-02-2003 02:33 AM

Not meaning to be picky but I think this thread was started for amusing misspellings rather than just when people were sloppy. Also sposed is I believe a generally accepted abbreviation of supposed, I was in a rush and I wanted to save typing time. My dedication to the Downs hasn't been so good the past couple of weeks so I don't have any Typos to report.

Silmarien out.

I know all that, Silmarien. I just like to be picky on details. It occasionally (did I say occasionally? I mean often. ) gets me into trouble.
