Very nice post, Hilde! Yes, I'm thinking one more post from Benia after Nerindel's post for Dúlrain goes up and I will be ready to switch gears and pick up again with Naiore. In the meantime, should we just throw up a few saves for this storyline & move on to Naiore's side of things? Or wait a little longer for Nerindel?

Okay - I'll put up a few Saves to close out the Gilly/Benia/Dúlrain storyline. Then we can move ahead with the other side of the story.

If you have any revisions you have made since then, Mizz Nerindel, I'd be happy to change it out for you. Just let me know.

Thanks! :D I couldn't really relate to Audrey Hepburn, anyway. This is more my speed - a bird from an ancient Mimbres pottery design. It looks almost heraldic, though, doesn't it?

It does look heraldic. And the color of the wing feathers makes it quite 'wightish'.

The green does go rather nicely, doesn't it? The picture came out better than I had expected, too. I was having a hard time deciding whether to go with this one or a blue mayan monkey. As it turns out, I'm very pleased with my choice, although be warned! The monkey may show up eventually... ;)

Yes, we are still planning to use them, at least at this stage. Hilde & I plan to close out that side of the storyline with a couple more posts, at least one each from Benia & Gilly. I have Benia's last post in the works - I am hoping to get hers done within the next couple of days. Once we have done that, we can delete the save(s) we don't use. I hope that is okay.

Just a quick note to say that my computer at work died, taking with it all off my files, including my partially written post and an 1100 name customer database for my business. I will have to put my post on hold for a few days while I try to reconstruct the database on my notebook. Then I will try to reconstruct my post.

Again I'm sorry I have not been around but things have been complicated and I have been suffering every writers worst nightmare .... writers block :( However if no one minds I think I will have a stab at trying to write Lespheria's next post.

Okiees Lespheria's post is up and its back to Naiore! Eala can I ask that Naiore shares with Lespheria the pain and fear of her victim/s, as she should now be aware that this would be the elf's greatest torment. ie that what Lespheria fears most is fear itself and to break her she must fuel that fear with the pain and fears of others.


Where Does Fear spawn/dwell? ok I have thought long and hard about our answer to Naiores question, and I think in Lespheria's mind it is a discord in the song of the world, a demon that lies dormant in the hearts and minds of every living creature waiting to be awakened by impending danger and fueled by pain and suffering till it consumes even the strongest warrior.

How does this sound to you two, if this is about right I need to have some idea as to how Naiore would react to this truth if Lespheria presented it to her?

Ah that Nerindel, she's a smart one! Sounds like a wonderful opportunity to tie in with Tolkien's history!

Ah, you are both the smart ones! Ealasaide the Ignorant, however, will have to do some studying and thinking before venturing an opinion. On first pass, though, it sounds good.

I'm trying to get something going from Naiore as well, but am bogged down in trying to learn a little something about Elves, who are in general not my strong point. I can wing it pretty well on character and situation but when Elven-specific history and philosophy come up, I have to hit the books. Sorry for holding things up!
