Well done, Hilde! Your post has been placed at the very end of my last Benia post. You did a very nice job of wrapping up the loose ends. :)

So, aside from our final posts from each of the prinicpals, that will tie up that side of the storyline. I have left my remaining Save clear for the final posts.

Hopefully, I will have my Naiore post finished in the next day or so. I know I said that last week, but then I was instantly descended upon by a handful of friends and relations. No writing time there! Hopefully, I will fare better this week, holiday notwithstanding. :)

I had thought that Menecin would find the abandoned farm horse and ride back realizing he had followed a false trail. Now I am thinking I should tack this on to the last post for him. Would that work for you both?

Ealasaide & Pio, at the moment I would veture to say that a short end post for either Gilly or possibly Dulrain, would also go in that save explaining where they are going. So if after Benia's, if it is not mentioned in there, we might need to leave it briefly 'under construction'. Nerindel, I am thinking of that message that you had sent awhile back regarding Dulrain's plans for the hobbits.

Just a note to say that I have tacked on an extra paragraph to Menecin's last post. It may grow further depending on your post for Naiore Ealasaide. And before I post the next one for Menecin I will definitely be in touch with you. :)

Nerindel - please let me know if there is anything in there I need to change. I could not remember what arms Vanwe carries. The only reference I could find to her being armed was in a post as they were leaving Rivendell that mentioned her carrying a small knife. If this is not correct, please let me know & I will make the proper adjustment.

Hilde - I left a save open at the end of my post for Menecin. :)

Hey Ealasaide, I had refered to Vanwe having a sword in post #312. I was assuming it was Menecin's that he lent to her for that occasion. I don't know if he took it back, it wasn't mentioned. :P Sorry for the confusion.

I think it is good to show Vanwe's character from the prospective of the others for the moment, so that when the time comes and Vanwe is forced to act, her point of view becomes more predominent(SP?)...well thats the hope anyway :D

Ergh! Help, I'm no help! That could have been anybody's sword really Ealasaide, so it could stand well as is, it's just that it will take a little while for me to get used to the idea of Menecin letting his daughter go around relatively unarmed.

Would it help him to rationalize taking his sword back to know that she had had no formal training in the use of a sword? Having had some Kendo training, I can tell you, it does take a good deal of practice to handle a sword well. ;) As I recall, Vanwe has had no formal weapons training.

I don't know about Menecin, but it helps me, thanks Ealasaide. :D And I do recall mock fencing someone myself, and having the unfortunate tendency to block blows with my wrist rather than the 'sword'!

Nerindel, I will plan to go ahead with Menecin then.

1. Amandur Et al leave Rivendell, finding Dir and discovering the fates of Kaldir and Rauthain.

2. Léspheria and Naiore sense each other’s presence and a fierce unseen battle ensues.

3. Amandur's group moves to encircle Naiore, using Léspheria as bait to draw out Naiore. Naiore plays along; falsely letting Léspheria believe her plan is working, while going after Menecin and Vanwe.

4. Naiore finds Vanwe and Avanill, killing Avanill.

5. Léspheria realizes Naiore’s intent, and cries out warning, but too late. Naiore has Vanwe and is taunting Menecin.

***WE ARE HERE***

6. Naiore is within bow shot of Léspheria, and Léspheria tries to reason with her.

7. An enraged Menecin attacks Naiore.

8. Vanwe slips from her mother's grasp into the arms of Léspheria & Vanwe's show of pity and compassion stops her father from delivering the deadly blow.

10. Desperate and filled with rage, Naiore turns on Léspheria.

11. Lespheria speaks to Naiore pointing out all that she has lost in persuit of an answer that was within her to begin with, She then turns her back on Naiore.

12. Naiore incensed and blaming Léspheria for Vanwe's pity strikes out at Léspheria.

13. Naiore is killed!

Ok, I have made a few changes to the outline so that Menecin and Amandur will wrapped up 'discussing' matters, while Lespheria, Naiore & Vanwe carry on their own conversation. If I've got something muddled, please let me know so I can correct it.

Meanwhile, I will put up a save for Menecin, so that I won't hold you guys up.

ok the fire of vengance now burns within Léspheria :eek: she needs answers, hopefully those answers will let the more neutral elven healer side of her nature shine through as she trys to reason with Naiore. Ealasaide I will pm you with something I think might help Lespheria see past her hatred.
