"Here is a thing unheard of! An elf will go underground and a dwarf dare not!" Gimli to Legolas about to go into the Path's of the dead. I was wrong, when I first thought I knew what it was...and I still don't have my book. |
That's it! Well done, Folwren! |
 I hope this is not too short...it should not be. "----/ -----/ --/ ---./ ---/ ----/ ---/ ---/ ----/ ----/ ---/ ---/ ----?/ ----/ ----/ -------/ -----/ --/ ----!" |

"Follow now the road to which the water has brought you from the hills, and fear not! You shall not walk long in darkness. Farewell!" Gelmir to Tuor, "Of Tuor and his coming to Gondolin" That was a bit tricksy! :) |

 Good job, Ibri! |

Sharp as ever, Ibrin. ;) Take it away. |
Actually, it was the "walk (something) in darkness" that tipped me off. I usually figure that if I need to do a computer search to find the quote, I need to read the books again. ;) I will have the next puzzle up this evening. Right now, I'm taking a short breather before I have company coming for an afternoon Christmas tea... supper... thingie. Man, this place is a wreck...! :D |
