Galadriel55 12-21-2011 04:56 PM

For a second I thought the first words were "Merry Christmas", which they obviously aren't, but look so at first glance. It would be the most random thing ever, unless you're quoting FC's Letters...

How about H's?

Guinevere 12-22-2011 08:09 AM

HAMSTER (plus added a forgotten S :o )

"M-r----/, ----sha--s!" "---/ ear--/? -----/ s-me/ -r-e--s/ at/ -ast/?"

Yep, that's it!

Aganzir 12-23-2011 03:58 PM

So here's the next one. I'll be staying with my grandmother over Christmas so I can't promise to be around a lot on the next few days - although who knows?

Galadriel55 12-23-2011 04:31 PM

I knew the quote before, but my sister stole my copy of FOTR and ran off to school with it. :D

E's please. :smokin::rolleyes:

Aganzir 12-23-2011 04:55 PM

Whoops. I just noticed I have combined two sentences, leaving out the latter half of the first and the former half of the second. Imagine my confusion when trying to fill in the E's! :D Corrected now.

E

"-'--/ --/ --/ -e--/ --/ ------/ --/ ----/ -e---e/ ---/ -e----/."

Galadriel55 12-23-2011 09:36 PM

How about Os?

Aganzir 12-24-2011 04:48 AM

EO

Folwren 12-28-2011 04:14 PM

Aha!

"I'll do my best to finish my book before you return."

Bilbo to Frodo in the chapter "The Ring Goes South" right after giving him Sting and the mithril coat.

Aganzir 12-29-2011 12:55 AM

Correct! Your turn, Folwren! :)

Folwren 12-29-2011 09:41 AM

Thank's Aganzir.

Galadriel55 12-29-2011 11:58 AM

I feel original.

T's please. :D

Folwren 12-29-2011 07:28 PM

:eek:Wow, that really threw me off.

Will you go as far to suggest that someone hacked into my account? ;):p <3

How about R's?

Folwren 12-29-2011 10:59 PM

TR

"T--r-'-/ -----/ t-/ --/ --/ ---/, -/ t---/ ---/," said [somebody]. "----/ --'-/ --t/ t-/ --/ ---t/ ----/, -r/ --'r-/ ---/ --/ ----/ --/ ----."

EDIT: No...I don't think I would have thought about anyone hacking your account - not with the plan to guess 'T' instead of 'E' in The Palantir of Fortune. I could totally see it as a possibility of a hacking incident if suddenly you committed suicide in WW or something, though.

Galadriel55 12-30-2011 12:05 AM

M's please!

Oh but I did. Commit suicide in ww, that is. Twice. :Merisu::D

Does that mean that I sometimes hack into my own account? ^.^

Folwren 12-30-2011 09:24 AM

No Ms, sorry.

Most decidedly, yes, then.

And at present, you are either still hacking your account or are practicing a huge amount of self control NOT to guess the E's. :p

Galadriel55 12-30-2011 10:08 AM

A's, how about.
