Thinlómien 03-01-2007 02:15 AM

For Finrod Felagund?

The Might 03-01-2007 11:34 AM

Noep, not at first

Celebriel Esgaledhel 03-02-2007 02:49 AM

Hmmm I think Thinlomien is right, after looking it up myself...wasn't it made for Finrod, who brought the jewels for it from Valinor?

The Might 03-02-2007 07:57 AM

yes

Thinlómien 03-02-2007 08:07 AM

So it's my turn?

The Might 03-02-2007 08:20 AM

I guess so...;)

Thinlómien 03-02-2007 12:11 PM

To which Vala's maiar did Arien belong to?

ADubiousSource 03-02-2007 07:14 PM

Varda.

Thinlómien 03-03-2007 06:59 AM

Nope (though that would be a logical guess).

The Might 03-03-2007 09:56 AM

Vana

Thinlómien 03-05-2007 06:23 AM

Well done, Might!

The Might 03-05-2007 03:21 PM

Who eventually became a better swordsman with the left hand?

Gil-Galad 03-05-2007 05:49 PM

Maedhros after losing one of his hands at Thangdororim(you know what i mean)

The Might 03-06-2007 09:49 AM

Corrrrrrect

Gil-Galad 03-06-2007 05:52 PM

Who were the first "Brethern" to meet the Son?

The Might 03-07-2007 11:26 AM

Who's the Son?
And what's brethern?

Celebriel Esgaledhel 03-07-2007 05:21 PM

Do you mean "Brethren"?

Gil-Galad 03-07-2007 08:09 PM

yes Brethren, simple spelling mistake

Who were the first "Brethren" to meet the sons?

Legate of Amon Lanc 03-08-2007 06:13 AM

Another spelling mistake?

Hey, so is it Son or Sons?

Gil-Galad 03-08-2007 08:15 AM

it is sons...

Who were the first "Brethren" to meet the sons?

is correct, now no more questions! try and answer it already! you lost your hints at 5 guesses too, gotta wait till 12 guesses now... urrgh... :o

The Might 03-08-2007 08:20 AM

Well, by sons I personally think of the sons of Feanor...
And brethren would mean to me they were Elves as well...
Maybe brethren from Beleriand? Perhaps...the Sindar?

Gil-Galad 03-08-2007 08:27 AM

close, guess again

The Might 03-08-2007 08:33 AM

Teleri, the Elves of the Falas I guess.
After the Noldor reached ME they fought against the Orcs in Mithrim and some also helped Cirdan

Gil-Galad 03-08-2007 05:20 PM

so close TM... but not the answer i want... you are so close...

The Might 03-09-2007 08:09 AM

I dunno...maybe the Teleri at Alqualonde then?

Gil-Galad 03-09-2007 08:28 AM

now your getting colder...

anwser is in your sentence

After the Noldor reached ME they fought against the Orcs in Mithrim and some also helped Cirdan

The Might 03-09-2007 08:57 AM

Perhaps the Grey-elves that dwelled in Mithrim at that time?

Gil-Galad 03-09-2007 09:15 PM

Bingo! there we go TM, now was that so hard?

The Might 03-10-2007 12:49 PM

Well, the question can be interpreted in many ways.
One may say the first met the Noldor, after their births, because brethren can be thought of in more then one way.

Anyway, who hid himself in abandoned mines?

The Might 03-13-2007 02:12 PM

Sorry, I just realized the question is not from the First Age...
Anyway, what is Beleriand's longest river?

Gil-Galad 03-13-2007 05:02 PM

Rivier Sirion perhaps?

Celebriel Esgaledhel 03-13-2007 05:24 PM

Perhaps Gelion? Though it is more on the border of Beleriand/Ossiriand than directly in Beleriand.

The Might 03-14-2007 06:13 AM

Gelion was longest, while Sirion carried more water

Celebriel Esgaledhel 03-14-2007 01:41 PM

Which city is Gondolin modeled after?

The Might 03-14-2007 04:05 PM

Tirion

Celebriel Esgaledhel 03-14-2007 09:03 PM

Of course :)

The Might 03-15-2007 11:12 AM

When the Outlaws first met what was did was he carrying?

Legate of Amon Lanc 03-15-2007 12:46 PM

What was WHO carrying?

(But if it was supposed to be Mîm, then this was the sack with unknown content - on first sight only some roots, but maybe there was something yet hidden in there...)

The Might 03-16-2007 08:17 AM

Yes, I am indeed talking about what Mim was carrying...
Yes, that's the answer I was looking for

Legate of Amon Lanc 03-17-2007 09:29 AM

I thought so :D Okay.

Who was the composer of the longest of all the lays of the ancient days?
