Which actor/actress had this to say about the third movie?

Must be that wimp, Elijah...

Luthien_ Tinuviel 12-31-2003 04:01 PM

Sean Astin? He seemed to think it would be pretty emotional.

Wimp? Hardly. It takes a true man to be able to cry and not be ashamed.

As for the quote, (because I have no clue...)
Dom?

Everdawn 12-31-2003 09:31 PM

John Rhys-Davies?

Carlas 12-31-2003 09:35 PM

Oh, I know I heard this somewhere...but I can't remeber who said it!!!

Was it Viggo Mortensen?

THE Ka 01-01-2004 12:13 AM

it doesn't sound like Woods... but, your first guess is 70% of the time the first one...

sounds like boyd... that or Sean Astin...

Eärendil 01-01-2004 01:42 PM

Mariska - What a coincidence! *grins* The person quoted is Sala Baker, right? I have been reading inteviews the last few weeks with "less famous" actors from the films, and I came by a few interviews with Mr. Evil himself - Sauron, played by Sala Baker. In one of those interviews with him he says the exact sentence you posted! Bad for you, good for me.
(And now I hope I got the right actor so that I haven't made a complete fool of myself...*smiles*)

Eärendil

Luthien_ Tinuviel 01-01-2004 04:17 PM

Wouldn't it just be predictable for you to get that quote, Earendil? If you get it right, please don't try to break the current record.... or at least give hints. Ok?

Mariska Greenleaf 01-02-2004 02:17 AM

Good work, Eärendil!

Samwise 01-02-2004 08:52 PM

Dom?

Speaking of quotes, though--I really like the one in your sig, Luthien_Tinuviel.

Eärendil 01-03-2004 01:31 PM

This won't be hard, I think. Enjoy...

Evisse the Blue 01-03-2004 04:38 PM

This sounds familiar yet I can't place it.
David Wenham?

Samwise 01-03-2004 04:49 PM

Going with my usual kind of answer...
Sean Astin?

Aredhel Ar-Feiniel 01-04-2004 01:28 AM

And im going to go for Orlando Bloom.

Luthien_ Tinuviel 01-04-2004 06:09 PM

I'm pretty sure it's Orlando, but just in case, how about Karl Urban?

Thanks! I like yours a lot, too.

Samwise 01-04-2004 09:29 PM

Thank you much, Miss Luthien.

Just to throw out another guess--David Wenham?
{EDIT}
Whoop---he was guessed. Okay, then--Dom?

Eärendil 01-05-2004 02:24 PM

Nope, no one's got it yet.

Samwise 01-05-2004 03:03 PM

Uh....Viggo, then?

Carlas 01-05-2004 06:17 PM

Elijah Wood or Billy Boyd?

Aredhel Ar-Feiniel 01-06-2004 02:07 AM

Craig Parker?

Eärendil 01-06-2004 01:12 PM

Craig Parker it was, Aredhel got it! Good job. *smiles* Please proceed.

Ok then. Shouldnt be too hard.

Eruwen 01-09-2004 11:59 AM

I'm going with Elijah Wood just because I found a quote that somewhat sounded like that. So I think he would have said it.

Aredhel Ar-Feiniel 01-10-2004 02:16 AM

Very Good, It was an Interview with Elijah which i got from B Magazine.

<font size=1 color=339966>[ 3:24 AM January 10, 2004: Message edited by: Aredhel Ar-Feiniel ]

Eruwen 01-12-2004 08:24 PM

Sorry I havn't been on. My AOL has been down lately. We had to re-install it. Anyway, here's the new quote {should be quite easy}...

Quote:

We were sort of trying to be patient and modest, and wait for people to see what hard work went into it, but I don't know, it was painful.

Luthien_ Tinuviel 01-13-2004 08:07 PM

Isn't that Sean Astin, from his recent interview on Regis & Kelly? (I've seen him on TV interviews three times in the past five days! What bliss!)

Carlas 01-14-2004 04:06 PM

I have no idea, but ill guess Elijah Wood.

Eruwen 01-14-2004 05:41 PM

You know, when I looked at this interview, I knew I had recognized it somewhere. I was just in too big of a hurry to find out where it came from. Now I know. Ugh. Cause I taped and watched that Regis and Kelly show. Luthien, due to my extreme lack of noticing anything important, you got it.

Luthien_ Tinuviel 01-14-2004 07:40 PM

Thanks! Now for a quote of my own......

Quote:

I'm a political junkie.
Will this do?

Samwise 01-14-2004 11:34 PM

Sean Astin? I've seen pics of him at all sorts of Democrat events...

Gorwingel 01-15-2004 01:09 AM

Yes, I too think that is Sean Astin. Didn't he say it during the recent Lincoln Center Event or something like that? I know during it they started going "Sean for President" or something similar to that (hey it may have been Sam for Prez).

I am not really answering I guess

Luthien_ Tinuviel 01-16-2004 09:23 PM

Yes, Samwise got it right again. Hey, at least I didn't choose one that was blatantly obvious! But given the circumstances, I suppose it was. I admit with shame that I decided to use the same actor that Eruwen used, mostly because I wanted to, and partially because I wondered if anyone would get it, since having the same person's quotes twice in a row isn't common. It seems it wasn't that hard, though.

Samwise 01-16-2004 11:21 PM

Really? Hm. Now I need to go find a quote that ISN'T Sean Astin....

Samwise 01-16-2004 11:46 PM

Okay, here goes....

There you are--have at it.

Gorwingel 01-17-2004 02:32 AM

Gosh, that sounds hard
But I will take a guess...
Viggo?

Arwen_Evenstar 01-17-2004 04:32 AM

That does sound like a Viggo quote...but, for the sake of argument...the ever-cuddly Mr Astin.
Maybe...

Eruwen 01-17-2004 09:56 AM

It doesn't really sound like him, but it could be, so I'm going with Orlando.

Samwise 01-17-2004 12:05 PM

No, none of those gentlemen...but it is a 'he'...
