I don't see any such rule among the first posts, and I don't think I've ever followed it, and at one point there were only two active players but the game went on (with only one guessing). So I think there's no harm in a double guess.

But if there is only lne guesser, with no guess limits, there is nl point to the game. They might aswell post the alphabet and. I might as well post the quote. ?:cool:

Concerning the rules: it was indeed often like Galadriel55 said, that for days and even weeks there were only two players (one of them being me;) ) but usually I only asked one letter per day, since I was always hoping more guessers would join us, and I'm not always at the computer. I don't think there was no point to it: the aim and the fun is to guess the quote with as few letters as possible. But I see what you mean: one and the same person asking for many letters in a quick succession... So I agree on your compromise, Mithalwen.
