Aww..... I was going vaguely in the right direction with my sam's song and light of earendil ideas and then couldn't take it further..... very well done to the question setter and the Knight....

Hmm is the item portable (by which I mean: could it reasonably carried by one person; not is theoretically possible that a team of extra-strong dwarves could lug it around? ;) And if so, is it something that would be carried around (like an umbrella) rather than could be carried but isn't usually (like an umbrella stand)? ..... sorry if this is pedantic (and a little greedy having 2 questions in one!!!)
