Valier, just thought I'd inform you that my game needs two more players (more if they want :) ) to start so I expect it to be soon. Just letting you know so you can plan things accordingly.

By going through some of the older WW:s with no roleplaying, I sure am for RPWW:s!

A kind of "tradition" would say we go first with Sleepy's game: the last one was a WWJ game and Sleepy has a WW-game now. I'm not wishing to resound the discussion made earlier in here about the relative status of the two, so let's just think that the games start carefully, one at the time, not jumping over each other but going on when there are people enough involved...

Valier's game should then start as it has been fully booked - or when Sleepy's game came to an end. Depending?

So some co-operation between the WW and the WWJ? Too much to ask?

Ummm well I don't see there being a problem with both ww games going on at once if we have enough players for both games. We have 7 for sures in this game I think and a few maybe's so if we go with the 7 for sures we still need at least 5 more players before I start my game, so if Sleepy gets his game going soon we may not over lap too much or I can wait till after his is over before I start this one. It matters not to me. :D


Oh and as for the WWrping...I would like players to be in rpish mode, but my rules on this are very lax. I don't care if people follow it, I just think it will go good with this story/game I have created.

Well when WWJ started they allways ran pretty much at the same time and I see no reason why they should co-ordinate with WW as they are two independent things, holding no rang over each other. Out of principle I don't think the WWJ players should be left waiting because of a WW game.

A day or two. We still require a few players, if your game is starting after mine (which would make the probables certain) then we require just one more player to begin. :)

Well if it goes Sleepy, Valier, then me, with my gang-wars i require quite a bit of players so it might be wise to combine both WW games.

I see the problem as follows.

We do not have as many players wishing to play as we had last spring (or earlier, as I have only been told). So there are not enough people to make two games simultaneously.

That requires something like co-ordination. Making WW and WWJ games go one after another would do the trick, as it has done for the last games anyhow? (And then there is all that discussion, whether it's wise to have those both separated in the first place)

Still I think that having both of these threads / arenas open will give us more flexibility as some games might go on simultaneosly if there were enough players around, but when not, the one game might wait for the other to end or release enough dead-ones to jump to the other game.

No one can really play in two games at the same time, we all know that. So if only a handfuyl of people wish to play, why not arrange a possibility for everyone? The most stupid thing is to have two games about to begin, but neither being actually able to start as the one has 10 players and the second 12, all just waiting for someone else to make a move...

What I mean? I could play in both Sleepy's and Valier's game, surely. But as Sleepy's game has been announced earlier, I have put myself in that list. If those wishing to play and have only listed to the Valier-game could be assured that they can take part in Valier's too, they might sign in the Sleepy game and that could go forwards tomorrow...

Ideas?

I agree with you to some extend, but I just don't think that that there should be any rules that puts one game a head of the other. I don't mind co-ordinating when in lack of players at all.

Also I don't really think the two threads should be combined, I will start my game as soon as there is enough players. If players signed up for Sleepy's game and he gets enough players then his game starts, If I get enough players then my game starts. Players that sign up for two games at once ....well what do you do? You play in the one you signed up for first. If this means that my game doesn't start till after Sleepy's is over, because of lack of players then so be it. Another game is just going to start in the WW thread right after Sleepy's, so it doesn't matter either way. Having the two threads also gives people more of a chance to mod a game.

I only mean is to combine the players, for a need 20 according to my plans right now...

Valier if you intend to do a 'RPG' style game I request, as well as other mods especially those from the RPG sub-forum, that we not longer call it RPG but I suggest that we call it an in-character game. There are multiple reasons for this and hopefully I'll get an official post up soon. But most importantly this should not be viewed as role-playing as we have an actual role-playing sub-forum dedicated soley to that and they work hard to maintain its integrity so this has the distinct possibility of erroding that integrity. Thanks

I'm not sure. On second though I don't think he really ever signed up and was rather expressing his desire to do a WW Gang Wars sometime. I believe this was pre-Wizards by Elempi.
