That reminds me of carebears... Wait a minute! What if there were BarrowDowns carebears?... Then we would have to them 'BarrowBears' or 'DownsBears'. The second one sounds like an effective anti-depressant stuffed animal, though. BarrowBears it is! Bringing you welcome and a good afterlife!


Sorry, I'm getting carried away. Okay, well, everyone have a BarrowBear and if you are depressed or just having a bad day, have a DownsBear. You can think up names as well, if you like, because i'm performing too much brainstorming on the subject...

Hello, everyone, I am Dimturiel and I am quite new here. I think it would be polite to introduce myself. ;)
I do not exagerate when I say that most of my life revolves around LOTR. I read it twice every year, at Cristhmas and in June-when the school holyday begins. I also write poems and stories that are either inspired from Tolkien's works, either take part in Middle-earth. I have been a Tolkien fan for three years and three months and I have never been more proud of being anything else before. Also, I am very proud to be here, with people who share my love for Middle-earth, and I have to say that I feel quite at home here. I hope we will get on well. :)

I am glad to hear that you feel at home already. Its great to have someone so enthusiastic(sp?).

Welcome Dimturiel! A random trivia fact for you...Viggo Mortenson appeared in the old film Witness, and although he appears at least four times he has only one line...and it is in German.

So on that random note...a happy "downs"ing time to you!

Welcome Parmawen and Dimturiel! It's nice that you feel welcomed already, I doubt If anything here will cause you disgust... Well, maybe not too much. It really depends on what offends you, so, I won't make judgements.

Anyways, there are many different activities to join up in, and places to make your own ground as well. I await to see your own threads :) .

Hi there everybody! I am not that new, well on the forum I am. I love to write, and do art. When I say art, I mean like sketches, and Paintings and whatnot. I am currently writing a book, its a fantasy type thingamabob. I have seen LotR about 12 times (all three in a row), and I have read the books. That pretty much covers it......I Can't Get This Darn Avatar To Work!! :( Someone please help me!
