Your name is non-gender specific, I'm not a mind reader Birdland and didn't learn you were female until seeing your picture.

Anyway, forget everything I've said because I can't come anyway. I'll be in California at that time meeting ColletteTook and etc. So, again, do have a good time. Perhaps in time someone will learn a bit of common-sense, but I doubt it. Either way, the best of luck to you.

Oh, I'm not upset in the slightest. I do see your point, but stick with my opinion your being very small-minded. It speaks volumes for my argument that you can judge just on the fact that I am a minor (which, I won't be for long but that's another matter).

And on another note, why would you be responsible? I am quite curious of this? I was under the impression that when conset is given by the guardian that all responsibility is taken by the guardian.

This is not set in stone, liabilty is not so easily removed. If you decided to swill a beer for instance, any present adult could be held responsible. In essence, you are in their keeping, their responsibility, a note from your parents is not an emancipation from laws governing the freedoms of minors.

right in front of smoking and a little vandalism no doubt... You'll be glad to hear that all those destructive urges disappear the minute you turn 18.

Beren - Have a great time in CA, and no hard feelings.

To quote a conversation I used to have with my mom:

Mom: "Have a good time and be careful."
Me: "Well, which is it, Mom?"

OK, we need to start coming up with ideas for what we want to do. I'm going to take the rest of this discussion off-thread, for privacy issues addressed earlier. PM me, folks.
