Burzdol: Remember, please don't kill the guards if you don't have to. Just the mercenaries, and there are less mercenaries than there are guards. These are not real enemies, they are merely confused pawns instructed to find a murderer.
Here is the plan: Erulon has transported Bali (in the barrel in the wagon) to the gate where Yanithe is. Yanithe will sing the guard to sleep, and then Erulon will get Bali out of Bree. Yanithe will collect the horses, and with the rangers (Belegond, Einin, Belfalod and Arlome) will take the wagon and horses to the east of Bree. Once they are safely out of Bree, all other members of the company will break off and flee, getting out of Bree in any way they can. It is to the discretion of the member how their character will escape. Jumping out a window, hiding in a hay wagon, climbing the wall, or simply rushing the guards at the gate... whatever you want. Astarielle and Arvendui III: WHERE ARE YOU?!!!! |
On vacation, sorry bout my absence . Um, hope it hasn't caused anyone too much trouble. Um,just read what I missed, ohh you guys are good. If there's anyway I can still figure into all of this. Let me know Please!!
|
Arvendui III:
Glad to here that you are accounted for! You still have time to get into some action: Gromfelt is helping to hold the common room, now deserted of customers, from the mercenaries and guards attempting to get up the stairs to Bali's room. Dain is there, with Kili, and so is Durin. These are the three other dwarves. Ani Dao is at the stairwell behind you. Let none pass... Himaran |
hehehe,
Thanks. |
Hello comrades!
To add a little spice to the pot, Arlome and Einen got arrested. But do not fear! They'll get out. Ultimately, since the company is going to be scattered we should have some meeting place like weathertop or Rivendell. Since most of the elves have gone to the Greyhavens, Rivendell can be considered since we have dwarves. Don't worry about Arlome and Einen though. The Dunedain will use his tracking skills. |
Weathertop is a common meeting place. The company will be scattered, but some will band together.
Company: Once the signal is given, desert Bree in anyway you can and get to Weathertop, about a week's journey on foot outside of Bree. You do not have horses! The horses are with Erulon, Yanithe, and Belegond, who are making the journey separately. I suggest that Burzdol go with Ani Dao, and that Astarielle (reluctantly) lead the dwarves to Weathertop. The signal is soon in coming! |
Everyone now needs to have their character leave Bree, through a wild charge or a sneaky lock-picking escapade, it doesn't matter. Make for weathertop.
About supplies: Belfalod went and got supplies. He will be leading two horses loaded with supplies to weathertop. Where he got the horses.... Himaran |
I (Belegond) have left my father chain on the floor, to guide people who dont know the way, can some one please pick it up.
|
gone for one and a half days and I miss so much? Be patient as I spend the next 30 or so minutes catching up and writing my post. So glad you all like them. This is so much fun.
-Maikafanawen |
Okay I've posted. *phew* Still a little guilty about the length but as long as its okay ...
Also, Ani Dao doesn't use her bow that often. She sticks to her knives mostly, or uses her unusual skill in hand to hand combat. I noticed lots of posts mentioned her bow. Ani Dao looooves adventure, and bow usage takes the real excitement out of it for her. 1) Because it's really not that challenging for any elf and 2) There's no subject to fault, and she is put in no real danger. Just thought I'd point that out. Great posting you guys (well and girls, but you know ...)! -Maikafanawen (or just Fanawen, it's tiring to write that whole name out, my fingers only go so fast). |
I'd like to enter in the "Road to Erebor RPG" i've read through the whole thing (you guys are doing some great work). I just can't find out how I can get myself into the plot, if anybody could help me out with this problem, i'll just tell you a bit about myself. My name is Hathalas, son of Hamaras, and I am an elf born in Rivendell. My father had died in the battle of the ring at Helm's Deep. I am skilled with a bow, although I use my fathers blade that he had bestowed upon me.
So how do you think I could get into the plot? |
Hathalas:
We will be passing through Rivendell in the not-to-distant future. You could be an elf there that knows the way of the Charadhras and will guide us through. Himaran |
However, I first must talk to piosenniel and see if its all right.
Himaran |
Sounds great, I will keep on watching the progress of the RPG until you get to Rivendell.
|
Soz people i am here, the internat has been down for ages at my house.
Just posted, if your not hapy with it i will change as needs be. |
PHP:Are we going to be attacked at Weathertop? Close to it?
~Burzdol~ |
Hey guys and girls!
Be wary in the countryside. The guards obviously will be in pursuit. You guys are wanted dead or alive, just to let you know. |
YES! I was just thinking today that our company needed a tracker!!!!! Hathalas! If piosenniel be merciful *crosses fingers* You would be the perfect addition to our fellowship thingy! Yeah, anyways.
-Fanawen |
I think Hathalas Ashen-Shield would be a good addition to your game. I have asked him/her to place a character description on this thread before he joins the game and hope that will be done soon.
Hathalas Ashen-Shield Please check you PM's for the kind of information you need to put on this thread before you post in the game. |
Fanawen-In the RPG can we call you Ani? Can we say it as a shorter version of your name or does it have to stay Ani Dao?
~Burzdol~ |
Himaran o we have anything we have to do on the way to Weathertop? If so, what?
~Burzdol~ |
Sorry that smilie was a typo.
~Burzdol~ |
Alright it all seems to be in hand. Good luck with the RPG everybody.

Character Profile
Name: Hathalas Ashen-Shield Age: 489 Years Old From where: Rivendell Physical description: Light blonde Hair, a few strands in braids, average height, light and fast, wears a green cloak, brown shoes and a chain around his neck with an amulet passed down from his mother. Averagely strong, trained at riding horses. Personality traits: Does not enjoy getting into conflict, but states his opinion cleary. Quite clever, good eyesight, has lots of determination. Does not fear death. Weapons, any special skills: A longbow of the realm of Mirkwood (Don't worry no special power at all) and Elvish Blade passed down by father (Dead by the way). |
Gamers:
The first group, Yanithe - Belegond - Bali -Eruantalon -, has reached Weathertop and established a camp there. Everyone else needs to get there soon. To make theings more interesting, you could have your group have a run-in with guards, mercenaries or bandits. Once everyone is at Weathertop, and it is nightfall, a group of orcs will attack. In that battle all members can be savage on their enemies without being evil, unlike in Bree. SHOW NO MERCY TO THE ORCS, FOR YOU WILL RECIEVE NONE!!! Hathalas: Everything looks good with your description, you are accepted. We will look forward to meeting you at Rivendell, our next stop. Everything is going well with the game. Everyone seems to have caught on to the idea I had for the game, and the journey is moving along nicely. Once we reach Rivendell, the journey is halfway done! Himaran |
Good, I like to fight. Sounds like fun to me!
~Burzdol~ |
The dwarf party with Astarielle has reached Weathertop. That leaves Arlome, Einin, Burzdol and Ani Dao. You need to get to Weathertop soon! We have a lot of journey ahead of us yet.
Arvendui III: Great post! It sets up the orc attack well! Himaran |
Orcs are going to attack Bali and the warriors with him down by the wagons.
other orcs will attack the dwarves, (dain, kili, grom, etc. At the top of weathertop. Himaran |
Hathalas: Are you going to be our tracker too? Because we need one. Don't you think? Because once we leave Rivendell, we're not gonna know exactly where we're going ...
-Fanawen PTO: Just "Ani" is just fine. [ March 08, 2003: Message edited by: maikafanawen ] |
I think only Burzdol should be able to call you "Ani."
The only party that has not gotten to Weathertop yet is Arlome and Einin. They don't have to come until the next day, because they are behind. Earendil Halfelven: Dont have your two characters reach Weathertop until the following day or a little later. There will be more orcs to kill, don't worry! Himaran |
I am sorry I was gone for a bit. I had a Quize Bowl Competition (My first one!), and we had to stay at a hotel for an evening, and didn't get back 'til late this afternoon. . . so, I am going to post like a madman.
|
Yes i'll be your tracker, don't worry about it.
|
Hathalas: Check your Pms.
Everyone else: The fight with the orcs is over, and the wagon is crippled. We can't fix the broken axle with no matterials. Most people got to fight in this last battle with the orcs. Some did not, however, such as Kili and Burzdol. I have set it up so that everyone can go into the woods, get provisions and firewood, and get attacked by orcs, too. Earendil Halfelven: Your group is about a week behind us, so after the ones at Weathertop get back with firewood and provisions I will compress time, and have us "we had waited for you for many days." or something like that. Then you can reenter the group. For the time being, have fun with the police in the woods. Its sad that we all get so much fun out of killing these creatures... NOT!!!!!! Himaran |
Which dwarves, elves or rangers are in the same group as me? I need this info to post.
|
Astarielle: You reached Weathertop already, so there aren't really any more groups. The people at Weathertop going to look for provisions and firewood are:
Bali, Eruantalon, Burzdol, Astarielle, Belegond, Belfalod, Kili, Gromfelt, Dain, and Ani Dao. Himaran |
Hathalas: If you wanted to, I'm sure you could post something about your character in Rivendell, even though we're not there yet. Just some random thing so you don't become impatient with this slow moving RPG!!!. Sorry, I just have a lot of time on my hands right now while I'm sick and RPGs are my new addiction (along with coffee).
Oooh, I had a question too but I forgot ... and Himaran: What do you mean you think only Burzdol should call me Ani? I'm clueless! -Fanawen |
Actually Himaran already PM'd me and suggested that we met outside of Rivendell, finding me as a scout, that way I could have more time to introduce myself to the other characters and offer to guide you guys over Caradhras.
|
Himaran:Watch it. I know where you live.
|
Himaran:And just remember about what you told me. So don't say it.

Everyone, listen up.
There is a RPG in Rohan called Swan Wood. In this they are in need of three or four elves. There might be an opening for men, but no dwarves. If you are interested, please go to Rohan, then to Swan Wood Discussion Thread. Thanks. ~Burzdol~ |
