Legate of Amon Lanc 12-08-2007 10:00 AM

Of course, easy. If I knew you are going to appear, I would have picked something very hard. Okay, please continue :)

The Might 12-09-2007 04:22 AM

What name did the Sindarin use for the 'Everlasting Whiteneness'?

Nerwen 12-09-2007 04:52 AM

Fanuilos.

The Might 12-09-2007 05:02 AM

Not sure if that isn't Quenya...
No, I am looking for something else.

Nerwen 12-09-2007 05:15 AM

It is Sindarin– it's a title of Elbereth.

How about Amon Uilos, then?

The Might 12-10-2007 09:14 AM

Yes, this is what I had in mind. :D

Nerwen 12-10-2007 07:24 PM

Who wounded Glaurung at the Nirnaeth Arnoediad?

Gil-Galad 12-10-2007 10:38 PM

Azaghal, Dwarf Lord from Belegost.

Nerwen 12-10-2007 11:55 PM

Yep. Your turn.

Gil-Galad 12-14-2007 11:19 AM

heres a semi-riddle

Where does the wealth of the middle finally rest?

The Might 12-14-2007 01:01 PM

Wonder what middle means...

Rune Son of Bjarne 12-20-2007 05:49 PM

On the brow of Eärendil?

Actually I have no idea what you riddle is about. . .maybe you could re-phrase it or come with a hint.

Gil-Galad 12-20-2007 11:16 PM

sigh... its too easy for me to give you a hint...

Legate of Amon Lanc 12-21-2007 04:20 AM

What, you mean the Silmarils? One in the air, one in the water, one in the fire-depths of earth?

Gil-Galad 12-21-2007 11:33 PM

no keep guessing, your thinking to small. think BIG!

The Might 12-22-2007 05:17 AM

Well, maybe it is Númenor you are talking about, in which case it would be at the bottom of Belegaer.

Gil-Galad 12-22-2007 10:04 PM

your on the right track with that guess, but alas it is wrong!

Legate of Amon Lanc 01-23-2008 04:41 PM

Gil, I think also for the sake of clarity it will be good to at last explain what the "middle" in your first post is supposed to mean. I took it as "Middle-Earth", but if it was a typo, it will be probably better to correct it so that no one else is confused. If not, you should maybe tell us what it is supposed to mean, middle of what, or at least tell us that it's an intentionally cryptic word.

The Might 03-27-2008 01:26 PM

Perhaps in Aman... I know of that sceptre of Numenor in Aman

The Squatter of Amon Rûdh 02-13-2009 04:50 PM

Rathlóriel

I suppose it could be the Ascar. Doriath was in the middle of Beleriand, and its treasure ended up on the bed of that river.
