Also Where now are the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? Theoden King, right? Haha, another Theo...! Morsul, I like you and your humor <3 |
Correct! Though the version I have says “where now the horse and the rider” which I’m not sure was a translation error or just worded odd
|
"---- --- --- --- --- - ----- --- ----- --- -- --- ----- -----, --- --- --- ---- -- --------- --- ---- --- --- --- ---- --- ----, -- -- ---- -- ------- ---."
|
How do y’all make hyphens work anytime I try it’s like “oh you wanted one long line right?”
Anyhow T |
A please

Please |
"---t --t a-- --- -a- - -h--- th- ----- -a- -- th- ----- h----, a-- --- -a- -t-- at th---t--- a-- ha-- a-- th- -a- ---- --- ----, -- -- -a-- -- ------- --a-."
the mad HATter |
Well. “At thrusting” doesn’t make much sense but Thrusting is the only word coming to Mind that fits in that spot.
Wait no. Thirteen fits. “Just let any one say I chose the wrong man or the wrong house, and you can stop at thirteen and have all the bad luck you like, or go back to digging coal.” Gandalf in the Hobbit |
:D :D
You got it! |
No, no! * ***’* *** *n* *o**. * *on’* ******** *n**h*n* ****.

I’ll get back to you as soon as I remember what the quote I picked was.

So the problem is I try to pick completely irrelevant quotes like conversation about the weather or something completely boring so it’s not obvious. Which of course makes it also easier to forget so I made a new one. A bit obvious considering but there it is. |

:)I just recently heard this when listening for the umpteenth time to my LotR audiobook. |
Aye I also figured an apt replacement for the quote I forgot
|
"--'-/ --/ ---/ ----/ --/ -----/ ------/ --/ ----/, --/ -/ ------/ ---./ ---/ ---'-/ ----/ --/ ----/ ------!"
|
Hmmm
I think a T will be a good start |
T-Time
"-t'-/ --/ ---/ ----/ --/ -----/ ------/ --/ ----/, --/ -/ ------/ ---./ ---/ ---'-/ ----/ --/ ----/ --tt--!" |
I think D will shed some light
|
TD
"-t'-/ --/ ---/ ---d/ --/ -----/ ----d-/ --/ ---d/, --/ -/ ------/ ---./ --d/ ---'-/ ----/ --/ --d-/ --tt--!" |
E?

:eek:Wow, Morsul, you found that out without the E's and R's, with only two letters!
Well done! :) |
I’ll put one up soon.
Well the D helped because it limited what the last word could be. I was stuck on “butter” for a while until today at work someone mentioned “that’s better” about something or other and it clicked. |
