Correct Aredhel Ar-Feiniel, it was Benard Hill! Your go

Aredhel Ar-Feiniel 03-11-2004 01:33 AM

Quote:

"Even when he decides to get disgruntled for a moment, he cant quite do it very well."
There you go.

Mad Baggins 03-11-2004 04:55 PM

Hmm...is it Dominic Monaghan?

Everdawn 03-12-2004 04:56 AM

Areds is it Sean Astin?

Aredhel Ar-Feiniel 03-12-2004 07:39 PM

Aredsss say yes it be SEAN ASTIN.

From Premiere article "Four hobbits walk into a bar."

Eruwen 03-12-2004 08:37 PM

If you don't mind me asking, Aredhel, who was Sean Astin talking about when he said that?

Aredhel Ar-Feiniel 03-12-2004 08:44 PM

Billy Boyd.

Everdawn 03-13-2004 11:24 PM

aH, OK Ill just have to find a quote now, wont be long..

Everdawn 03-15-2004 04:54 PM

Quote:

The photographers : they are more dangerous than goblins and trolls.
OK there it is.

Lyta_Underhill 03-15-2004 05:37 PM

Wild guess--Sean Astin?
Cheers!
Lyta

Everdawn 03-15-2004 07:23 PM

nope sorry Lyta:)

Iaurhirwen 03-15-2004 09:52 PM

Another wild guess: Orlando?

(Hooray to me for my 51st Post!!!!)

Everdawn 03-15-2004 10:50 PM

Yes, it was Orlando Bloom, when asked what was the dark side of Fame.

Iaurhirwen 03-16-2004 01:39 PM

Oh yea! I'm psycic! I'm psycic! Or perhaps just psyco . . . . . I never really figured that one out. Anyhoo:

The Orlando Show

Hello, and welcome to the Orlando Show, here on the Barrowdowns! Two in row from your favorite blonde elf! (Well, not MY favorite blonde elf...) Sorry, just feeling a bit silly myself! :D

Cheers!
Lyta

Everdawn 03-16-2004 02:28 PM

lol, yeah, I think your right, it sounds like Orlando Lyta... Back to you in the studio!

Iaurhirwen 03-16-2004 03:01 PM

Yep, it is Orlando, summing up his last days in costume for a report in Newsweek. Your go Lyta.

Lyta_Underhill 03-19-2004 06:31 PM

Thanks, Iaurhirwen! I decided to try something totally random, but maybe not too hard:
Quote:

He was sending me a reading list of books on the Balkans -- 97 books.
Cheers!
Lyta

Everdawn 03-19-2004 07:04 PM

Viggo Mortensen?

Iaurhirwen 03-19-2004 08:06 PM

I have this incredibly odd incling to say:

John-Rhys Davis

I don't know why, but the little hobbits in my head are telling me to say that!:D

Lyta_Underhill 03-19-2004 09:32 PM

Sorry! Neither Viggo nor JRD is correct...more guesses? :D

Cheers,
Lyta

Everdawn 03-19-2004 10:17 PM

Sean Bean... could be him..

If not him Bernard Hill?

Gorwingel 03-20-2004 01:12 AM

*Thinking*

How about a different Sean... Sean Astin?

Eruwen 03-20-2004 08:46 AM

Something is telling me to choose Christopher Lee. How about him?

Lyta_Underhill 03-20-2004 09:50 AM

Not Sean A or B, Bernard Hill, nor Chris Lee...anyone want a hint? (If I can think of one), or do you want to keep on guessing?

Cheers!
Lyta

Iaurhirwen 03-20-2004 11:05 AM

I'm going to go random again and guess Orlando.

Lyta_Underhill 03-20-2004 12:17 PM

Iaurhirwen, why is it that all your 'random' guesses and quotes turn out to be Orlando? ;) Sorry! It isn't a three-in-a-row sweep this time! Not Orlando...back to you in the studio!

Cheers,
Lyta (sillier and sillier still!) :D

Iaurhirwen 03-20-2004 12:26 PM

No reason for it to be Orlando. I'm not a fan-girl and would resent being called that.

Also you would notice that my little voices told me JRD previously.

My logic actually on the Orlando guess is that it was possibly a three-in-a-row thing, because it is what somebody usually wouldn't do, and you were trying to trick somebody, even though it totally didn't even sound like him.;)

Sorry - I get a little defensive at times - comes from past experiences.

Anywhoo - being that nobody has yet guessed - Hint:( *pout, pout*

I suppose it comes from limited experience on my part! Many apologies! Didn't mean to insinuate Orlification on anyone here! ;) (By the way, I made up that word, I think...and you're right--that would be a good strategy!)

This quote was in reference to a 2001 movie (interview was in 2000) and this actor played one of a pair of siblings who were the focus of this film. The quote refers to the actor's preparation for the role.

Cheers,
Lyta

Everdawn 03-20-2004 05:54 PM

Ok then that says Elijah, but im not entirely sure, either that or John Noble.

Lyta_Underhill 03-20-2004 06:14 PM

I like how you manage to get in two guesses in a post, Everdawn! ;) However, it is neither Elijah nor John Noble! (It is in my basic nature to post Elijah quotes, but this time I went against the grain! You don't know how hard it was not to post the one about chocolate...anyway!) More guesses, and/or more hints?

Cheers!
Lyta

Everdawn 03-20-2004 06:19 PM

I have a question, this movie, was it set in the balkans?

Everdawn 03-20-2004 06:20 PM

I know who it is!! Marton Cosaks?

Lyta_Underhill 03-20-2004 10:21 PM

Quote:

Partially--the other part is set in the American West, and it isn't Marton Csokas...good guess, though!

Cheers!
Lyta
(still calls Marton "Borias" from long years of Xena-watching...)

Everdawn 03-20-2004 11:01 PM

This is depressing, i need another clue.

Gorwingel 03-21-2004 01:45 AM

Here is a guess out of left field... Is it Craig Parker?

Oh and please don't give a clue. We will find the answer eventually. Even if we have to go through the enitre cast list from the DVD ;)

Lyta_Underhill 03-21-2004 02:00 AM

Wow! I suppose the quote is hard! It isn't Craig Parker, either, Gorwingel, sorry! Another hint--the movie referred to in this actor's quote co-starred Joseph Fiennes. Good luck!
Cheers!
Lyta

P.S. Sorry, Gorwingel, I didn't see your plea for no clue, but this is the second clue, actually, so I suppose it was already too late! Perhaps I am a little rusty and should have settled for that Elijah quote after all! ;)

Everdawn 03-21-2004 02:42 AM

Cate Blanchette

Lyta_Underhill 03-21-2004 10:36 AM

Sorry! Not Cate either! More guesses?
Cheers,
Lyta

Eruwen 03-21-2004 12:47 PM

Ah, I shame myself for not guessing this one before, for he has been a common guess for me in the past. So here continues my guess of Dominic Monaghan!!! Could I be lucky? We shall see.... :smokin:
