Yep. At first I thought "Aww, poor Phantom", then as i read on I thought "Aww, poor Alien"!

Gasp! Phantom is seen holding the jar of Mayo in his mouldering left hand, and then throwing it with his ghastly right! Continuity error, or basis upon which the whole plot rests??

He could have just passed it from hand to hand in between frames.

It's just a trick of the light! If this was animated, it would have been a big, CGI whirling camera move. :p

Hm....I didn't actually. I thought of a episode or two earlier. I'm always behind on something. ;)

I'm thinking either Morsul puts really strong vinegar in his evil mayo...or it's not vinegar. :eek:

I also wish to express some congratulations about the penultimate scene--I did NOT expect the Phantom to do that at all--but it fits his character and the situation and everything.

Indeed it is! It makes me quite sad to know that I will not be able to read the last P&A until nine days after it's published. That fact alone is going to ruin my entire kayaking trip. :( Perhaps I should cancel it.

Anyway, I'm greatly looking forward to Volume 3. From the preview artwork I've seen it looks highly entertaining!

The End Begins!
 

It's been an interesting ride. We went from a lost job, a crazy investigation to a secret group and a power crazed Fish Man. What could be next for The Phantom and Alien? Where in the world will they go?

Fans, Romans, country men, I present to you the FINALE of volume two. Almost a year in the making, this story was designed to excite, entertain and induce vomiting. I hope it has done all of these things and more.

Now, to round off this fine volume, the longest P&A comic EVER!

You could spend an entire volume answering any one of the lingering questions:

Is Alien dead?

How does the phantom die?

Will the phantom REALLY die?

Who put the jelly in SPM's house?

Who becomes Downs Chancellor?

Who's the detective wight?

and... more importantly....

When do I get a(nother) cameo?:D

There IS a clue. Check SPM's last appearance in the series. ;)

Volume 3. And quite a substantial one at that.

I just thought that we need a concordance. Something like "SpM. See Vol. 1 eps. # ..., ..., .... Vol. 2 eps..." etc. Would be quite useful :D

Other good uses, not just for characters:

"Vomiting. See also John Fillis."

"Annoyance - Pure: See Alien. - Common: See random."

The resolution to this cliffhanger will blow you away, man. ;) Don't worry, I've got it all planned out. And no, Alien is not DIRECTLY involved in Phantom's death.... well... sort of... IT'S COMPLICATED! :D

Phantom is already dead. How can he die again? I guess it must be the same logic as most of us Barrow-Wights have been killed or died for some reason even though we are already dead... Last I checked, Phantom had thrown mayonnaise at Alien and Alien was in a state of great pain... Am I missing something?

Oh, btw Hookbill, I've finished my Phantom and Alien.

Oooh, all these questions and more will be looked into. There's a sort of clue in the FIRST EVER EPISODE (more detail in episode 50 of volume 1).
