OK, here's the next one...

I cried on my 18th birthday. I thought 17 was such a nice age. You're young enough to get away with things, but you're old enough, too
Ready...Set...Guess!

Rinfanawen 07-05-2004 07:50 AM

I would say Elijah, but I'm going to go with Dominic Monaghan. It just sounds like something Dom would say.

Iaurhirwen 07-05-2004 10:47 AM

I'm not going to go with the obvious - even though it is probably correct. I'm going to go and say:Orlando Bloom ? :smokin:

wilwarin538 07-05-2004 02:29 PM

Viggo Mortensen?

Gorwingel 07-05-2004 05:41 PM

No, No, and No

Iaurhirwen 07-05-2004 07:11 PM

Ok. Maybe I will go for the "obvious" and say: Elijah?

Gorwingel 07-06-2004 01:30 AM

Sorry, It's not Elijah

Kitanna 07-06-2004 09:09 AM

Rinfanawen 07-06-2004 03:15 PM

I'm going to do an Everdawn, and go wait out in left field...with David Wenham?

Gorwingel 07-06-2004 11:06 PM

Lindir, you are correct!

Your turn

Lindir 07-07-2004 05:18 PM

Thanx! :p Here goes:

"...so there are many of us."

There you go. Guess away...or something like that. ;)

wilwarin538 07-08-2004 07:40 AM

John Rhys-Davies?

Lindir 07-08-2004 08:48 AM

Kitanna 07-08-2004 09:53 AM

Christopher Lee?

Rinfanawen 07-08-2004 12:56 PM

Well, it would help if I actually knew what the quote was talking about, and since I don't...I'll go with a random. Dominic Monaghan?

Iaurhirwen 07-09-2004 09:45 PM

I love Randomness!!!!!!

Billy Boyd!?!?!?

wilwarin538 07-10-2004 06:46 AM

Lindir?

Ian McKellen?

Rinfanawen 07-16-2004 05:09 PM

Lindir, it's been 8 days...I really want to know who said the quote. Where are you? :(

Lindir 07-18-2004 08:19 AM

Sorry! I was gone. But I have come back to you now at the turn of the tide. :p Evisse is right.....it is Ian McKellen.
The "many of us" that he was talking about is many gandalfs. The CG Gandalf, Videogame Gandalf, Stunt Double Gandalfs and etc.
So it's Evisse's turn now. Again, sorry for the delay.

Evisse the Blue 07-18-2004 08:40 AM

Alright! :)

Mariska Greenleaf 07-22-2004 05:52 AM

New one:

Quote:

Do yourself a favor, get that extra flight and at least spend a weekend in New Zealand and have a look at it."
good luck!

Rimbaud 07-22-2004 08:10 AM

Billy Boyd, in reference to people holidaying in Australia and not seeing NZ.

Mariska Greenleaf 07-22-2004 08:13 AM

That's obviously not a guess... :)
Right answer of course!

Rimbaud 07-22-2004 08:24 AM

Not normally a quiz room fiend, but...

...I couldn't believe it when I saw your clue. I had read a snippet of what I presume must be the relevant interview with him just earlier this week.

How about this then, in response?

Quote:

Like any form of magic or war story, the books are incredibly dark. They're primal as well as fantastical, so I think it's important to have a director who has his feet planted in gore and fantasy.

Kitanna 07-22-2004 09:59 AM

Christopher Lee?

wilwarin538 07-22-2004 11:33 AM

Ian Mckellan?

Rimbaud 07-23-2004 03:50 AM

Neither

Neither of those two fine old actors, I'm afraid.

Evisse the Blue 07-23-2004 06:01 AM
