Hello every one I'm Goldfinger. I saw this site on Google year and ahalf ago and thought it was probably the best Tolkien/Middle Earth site on the web, and so today I decided to join.

Well, I must say that I'm glad you decided to join goldfinger. May I introduce myself? I am Glirdan, the (supposed) poet of this here Barrow. And that ghastly figure haunting me is JennyHallu. Say hi Jenny!

To start with I'd like to say welcome to all the new recruits! I hope your time here will be well worth the long hours of Downing you all have in front of you. I would be most surprised if it wasn't!

Second, I'd like to announce my own return :) I've been absent for some time and only dropped by now and then to check out the new stuff here. But I think I'm back now. In case anyone missed me ;) Anyway, I have a lot of catching up to do on my rep list, only got two this year!

I don't think my barrow is the dark and dank sort...I'm going to outfit the whole thing in silks and satins, with lots of pillows, treasure, and gourmet cookies. This whole afterlife thing is hard...need sustenance. :D Think King Tut. (I was going to spell out his name but gave it up)

Yeah I'm in second year Spanish and I figured out what it meant the other day. I knew it was a Spanish word, but I wasn't quite sure of the meaning. Now that I know, its rather ironic isn't it? lol. :smokin:

Hello. Just saying hi. I decided to register becuse barrowdowns has the best community (in my opinion) of any Tolkein fan site.
