Nilpaurion Felagund 07-14-2004 08:57 PM

The other one...

I think it was Turgon, but I can't recall the exact passage. So it went out the window.

Nilpaurion Felagund 07-16-2004 10:12 PM

Is Númenor part of the Outer Lands?

If so, Meneltarma?

Unless, of course, you refer to Lost Tales.

NightKnight 07-17-2004 03:59 AM

I'm not sure if Númenor counts, but either way, it's not right. ;) And yes, I'm counting BoLT. Guess what I'm reading right now? :p

luthien-elvenprincess 07-17-2004 08:00 PM

Were the Iron Mountains the highest?

NightKnight 07-18-2004 05:01 AM

Nope. It's a specific mountain I'm looking for.

Nilpaurion Felagund 07-19-2004 09:05 PM

I got it!

Kalormë!

Nilpaurion Felagund 08-09-2004 12:46 AM

*bump*

NK?

NightKnight 08-09-2004 07:58 AM

Yeppers. And I've been away for some time, and I've been a bit busy since I got home, so I might have missed more threads than this one. Anyway, please take the stage. :)

Nilpaurion Felagund 08-10-2004 10:36 PM

Whee!

NK, have you been hiding from the sun again?

So . . . who was the first to die in Aman?

NightKnight 08-11-2004 02:25 AM

Well... just a bit. ;)

It was Miriel Serinde, the wife of Finwë.

Nilpaurion Felagund 08-11-2004 11:10 PM

Just a bit?

Yeah, right, NK. And the ocean's a little wet. :p

Correct, by the way. :)

NightKnight 08-12-2004 02:37 AM

Yeah, it is. It was there I was hiding. ;)

Who was the greatest mariner of all times?

Fingolfin II 08-12-2004 02:47 AM

That would be Earendil.

Nilpaurion Felagund 08-17-2004 11:43 PM

*poke*

NK?

NightKnight 08-18-2004 01:32 PM

Yeah, of course. :)

I can't believe why I keep missing threads... Oh well, I'll try not to. ;)

Nilpaurion Felagund 08-23-2004 12:23 AM

*bump*

Fingolfin II?

Sleepy Ranger 08-30-2004 03:18 AM

My turn. Bump. We need a question.

Nilpaurion Felagund 11-10-2004 06:49 PM

*poke*

Fingolfin II?

Fingolfin II 11-11-2004 12:20 AM

Wow, bumped three times, how embarassing! Thanks for not making your own question, anyway-

Who slew Scatha?

NightKnight 11-11-2004 10:44 AM

Fram.

Fingolfin II 11-12-2004 12:17 AM

Yep :).

NightKnight 11-14-2004 05:45 AM

Hmm...

Who killed the mightyest of the flying dragons?

Fingolfin II 11-15-2004 12:36 AM

Earendil slew Ancalagon.

NightKnight 11-15-2004 01:28 PM

Yup. :)

Fingolfin II 11-16-2004 12:29 AM

Ok, now who killed the Father of the dragons?

luthien-elvenprincess 11-16-2004 05:21 AM

Turin killed Glaurung

Fingolfin II 11-17-2004 12:24 AM

That he did.

luthien-elvenprincess 11-17-2004 06:30 PM

Who built the most luxurious hobbit-hole?

Nilpaurion Felagund 11-18-2004 01:37 AM

Bungo Baggins?

luthien-elvenprincess 11-19-2004 05:03 AM

Correct answer, Nil :)

Nilpaurion Felagund 11-19-2004 11:19 PM

Thanks!

OK, who was the last person to look at Cabed-en-Aras?

NightKnight 11-20-2004 10:20 AM

Wild shot: Brandir?

luthien-elvenprincess 11-21-2004 07:56 PM

Hurin?

Nilpaurion Felagund 11-22-2004 12:30 AM

NK got it.

NightKnight 11-28-2004 11:39 AM

And who killed said Brandir?

Fingolfin II 11-29-2004 12:03 AM

That crazy guy.....what's his name....Turin .

NightKnight 12-04-2004 03:57 PM

The crazy guy it is! Your turn!

Fingolfin II 12-04-2004 06:11 PM

Cheers, here's something that may be remotely challenging-

How many of Sam's daughters had golden hair? Also, please explain how you know this, so that people aren't just guessing random numbers.

luthien-elvenprincess 12-05-2004 02:42 PM

Three of Sam's daughters had golden hair. I found this info in Appendix B.
 Not sure which two besides Eleanor though...except Goldilocks, of course!

Fingolfin II 12-05-2004 04:21 PM

Exactly right :).
