Mithalwen 07-05-2006 02:35 PM

Well I have answered Glirdan but it is just a riding along post...

Glirdan 07-05-2006 02:45 PM

Ooo! Injury you say? I want to be either the injurer of the injured!! :D Either one is fine with me.

Mithalwen 07-05-2006 02:50 PM

Unless you want the comic potential of the healer getting knocked out  shut me up for a bit.... otherwise I'll provide bandages ....

Glirdan 07-05-2006 02:56 PM

Just responded back Mith.

Cordelia Harrison 07-05-2006 03:06 PM

OOOh Glirdan it would be awesome if you inflicted pain on someone. Perferably the bad guy!

Oh no Mith we don't want to shut you up at all! YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO GET INJURED!

Crystal Heart 07-05-2006 03:09 PM

Hey. . . question

WHERE in the world is Adu and Edhener?

piosenniel 07-05-2006 03:20 PM

Reminders for the game in play:

Glirdan 07-05-2006 05:29 PM

Yes, sorry about that siggy being left...I really have to make a note to self on that...

Crystal, I think we should put up Missing Persons Posters!

Cordelia, I would love to inflict pain on the bad guy...if he was here. But I wouldn't mind being inflicted with an injury either...or accidentally causing someone in our group to get injured.

Crystal Heart 07-05-2006 05:36 PM

An accidential injury? ROFLMBO! That would be rather interesting now wouldn't it?

YAY! We need to make missing people posters right now!

*brings out glue, pictures, and paper* START MAKING POSTERS!

Glirdan 07-05-2006 05:42 PM

Well, what I meant by accidentally was that we go hunting for food and I accidentally hit someone with my arrow or get scared in the middle of the night, jump up and stab someone in say, the left shoulder or the knee. Or perhaps somebody breaks an ankle by running and tripping over a rock. Or I get hurt, I don't know how though. Someone can come up with that...

Actually, I have an idea...Hookbill's got a new thread up called the Barrow Down's Newpaper. I was thinking, what if we get their avvies and make a post for it in there. Mind you, it has to be funny. I'd do it, but I already wrote one on behalf of ME Idol.

Crystal Heart 07-05-2006 05:55 PM

YEAH! Let's do that! Let's make a missing thingie!!

Oh that sounds like a good idea. Someone should get hurt. Who volunteers?

Glirdan 07-05-2006 06:02 PM

I said I do, but if you want to follow through with that, I'm fine with that as well. I think that all of us should succumb to some sort of maladie at least once. How does that sound??

Crystal Heart 07-05-2006 06:16 PM

Well not all of us. At least two people should be injured (not massively though) in some way.

Glirdan 07-05-2006 06:24 PM

That's good as well. But when I mean hurt, I don't just mean physically. I mean emotionally (for instance, you and Thomas get into a fight over something stupid and then makeup). But I'm fine with two, as long as I'm the second. :p

Crystal Heart 07-05-2006 06:35 PM

OOOH emotionally. Hmmm.... let me think on that.

Sure. Yeah. Maybe. If we can find the group! Geeze. People and their disappearances.

Cordelia Harrison 07-06-2006 05:22 AM

Emotionally? I was talking physically. Less painful! lol

Crystal Heart 07-06-2006 10:42 AM

Emotionally would be good too I think. Let's just see how it all plays out.

Mithalwen 07-06-2006 11:21 AM

Bear in mind with injuries that anything too serious and you will get sent home we are still quite near the home village. You are going to have to be able to ride after some treatment or make an early exit.

Also that things we might regard as minor would be more serious in the game situation. Elfride is good by the standards of Rohan and the soldiers would know how to treat trauma wounds I expect but there is going to be little in the way of pain relief and herbal remedies are not going to have quite effect of modern antiseptics and antibiotics.

Might I suggest dislocation as a possible injury as an alternative . You will have to be very brave little soldier during the manipulation to relocate but it would not be as incapacitating? Anyway I will try and cope with what you thow at Elfride. :D

But she won't be so good at the emotional stuff I guess ....

Cordelia Harrison 07-06-2006 01:30 PM

Maybe we should only get cuts and bruises. No brokenness. What do you all say to that?

The Sixth Wizard 07-07-2006 05:04 AM

But how can I hurt littley widdle Garnae?

Probable scenario:
<sobs hysterically> I'm so sorry about this Garnae... (sticks pin in voodoo doll)

Garnae: (starts acting like monkey) Ooohoohahaha!

Me: Eep, wrong pin...
:)

Anyways, sorry people, I try to get online, but its like..
"I'll do it today."
"Oh no I didn't have time. They must have missed me."
"Eek, I forgot for another two days."
"--says nothing, has forgotten for yet another two days--
Next day: "Holy Iluvatar! I am so dead once I post again..."

Cordelia Harrison 07-07-2006 08:40 AM

*huggles* Hey Sixth! WE FOUND SIXTH!! *does happy dance* They put up a missing persons flyer on you. At least I think they did.

*pokes* UPDATE YOUR SAVE! YOU'VE GOT ME LAND LOCKED!! lol.

The Sixth Wizard 07-08-2006 06:48 PM

Where's W_Q she hasn't posted since the 12th of June, that's a month ago...

Can't make Garnae stand still can I?

When we finish:

Quote:

Here ends the Darker Days RPG. And if it has risen to the high and ambitious to darkness and ruin, that was of old the fate of the Shire players, and if there are to be any better players in this forum only the Barrow-Wight may know, but he has not revealed it, and it is not declared in the dooms of Piosenniel...
;) (Err, just a joke fellers, uh oh...)

Seeya!

Glirdan 07-08-2006 07:28 PM

No, it wasn't Sixth we were worried about, it was Adu and Dim that we made them for.

Cordelia Harrison 07-11-2006 07:39 AM

Right! Sorry. I forgot!!

Yeah where the heck is Adu?

*looks at her myspace* Um guys. . . I'm kind of afraid for her. She wrote about wanting to die. You don't think she . . . . you know. . . killed herself do you?

Hey Sixth: Where in the world did you get this:

Here ends the Darker Days RPG. And if it has risen to the high and ambitious to darkness and ruin, that was of old the fate of the Shire players, and if there are to be any better players in this forum only the Barrow-Wight may know, but he has not revealed it, and it is not declared in the dooms of Piosenniel...

What's going on?

Crystal Heart 07-11-2006 07:40 AM

Seeing as Adu hasn't been on for a month I shall be carrying on her character.

Let us all pray that she is doing well and it is only a problem with her computer and not as dark as that.

Dimturiel 07-12-2006 06:43 AM

Well, I'm back...and sorry

I had wanted to let you know that I would be leaving for a week but my computer did not work the day before I left. I am really, really sorry for the inconvenience I have caused. But now I am back, and ready to start writing. I'll post something tomorrow, as I'm much too tired today, and I'm still marveling at the miracles of civilization like sleeping in a bed and eating at a table ( not to mention using a computer ;) ).

About the getting injured thing, I think Edhener is reckless enough to do something rash and hurt himself. It would also teach him more wisdom. What do you think?

Once again, sorry for the trouble I have caused. :o

The Sixth Wizard 07-13-2006 02:57 AM

Just a joke (find at the end of Quenta Silmarillion)... ;)

Wanting to kill herself?? That's seriously scary...

Crystal Heart 07-13-2006 11:03 AM

Hey Dim! *hugs* No you didn't cause trouble. We were just worried about ya!

And I LOVE how you made Edhener have feelings for Elfride. IT'S A ROMANTIC PLACE! YAY!! lol!!

Mithalwen 07-13-2006 12:09 PM

Edhener? Blimey Elfride will be beating them off with a stick... eeek...

The Sixth Wizard 07-13-2006 11:33 PM

There was Entwash in that ale, or a love potion or something... Is it NORMAL for Rohaners to want to die for each other after a night drinking?? ;)

Dimturiel 07-14-2006 01:07 AM

Edhener have feelings for Elfride? Er...where exactly?

Crystal Heart 07-14-2006 07:14 AM

Eep! I meant Leoflic. Gosh I really need to stop drinking ale! lol. Just kidding folks.

Sorry for the confusion.

I want us to run into some trouble so get all the relationship stuff out of the way by Thursday. I am going to introduce a scout for Mayonette's uncle. So be prepared!

Glirdan 07-14-2006 08:03 AM

I was going to say there Crystal, where was it that Edhener said that? :p

The Sixth Wizard 07-16-2006 12:26 AM

Okay, I'll post that Garnae thinks he should concentrate on the task at hand and put off too much kissing and swooning 'till after. Not to say there won't be any more kissing and swooning ;) !

Glirdan 07-17-2006 09:02 AM

Okay, where is everyone!?!?!? I mean come one! We need to get this moving! Crystal, where are you!? Cordelia!? Anyone!?!?

Cordelia Harrison 07-18-2006 01:25 PM

Cordelia is here and present!! *hugs everyone*

Sorry about the delay. My computer was acting funny and I needed to get it fixed. But I'm back now! :D

Crystal Heart 07-18-2006 01:33 PM

I have added danger to my post. Enjoy keeping up everyone! :D

The Sixth Wizard 07-19-2006 03:54 PM

(Cordelia's parents) That girl really must stop hugging everyone... ;)

Yep, I'm here, so is my puppet Garnae, who I have strangely made rather brave. Must not take Edhener's place!

Glirdan 07-19-2006 06:51 PM

Mith? You going to fill your save in? I'd post one but I'm basing the end of mine on yours.

Mithalwen 07-20-2006 06:18 AM

Sorry ... got distracted by an offer to go to see Pirates of the Carribean and Messrs Depp, Nighy, Pryce, Davenport and Bloom were too much of a temptation. I delayed because I can write Elfride quickly but need more time for Hama . Will do tonight DVWP
