Elrond of Rivendell 01-09-2004 11:55 AM

Hyarmendacil, the name of two kings of Gondor.

piosenniel 01-09-2004 01:13 PM

That will work - but please note there was that second "i" in the anagram.

so the specific answer was Hyarmendacil I

Your turn!

Your word you're giving the clue for must begin with the letter "i".

Elrond of Rivendell 01-09-2004 01:37 PM

Nilpaurion Felagund 01-12-2004 07:23 PM

Does it begin in I, or L?

Elrond of Rivendell 01-13-2004 03:33 AM

The first letter is I.

Mariska Greenleaf 01-13-2004 05:51 AM

Hxxxxx xx xxx xxxxxxxxxxD.

EfR

NightKnight 01-24-2004 02:42 PM

I think you've put an x too much, unless you count the - as a letter.

piosenniel 01-24-2004 03:13 PM

How's this:

Hammer of the Underworld

~*~ Pio

Elrond of Rivendell 01-24-2004 04:05 PM

You were both right. I hope my "hint" (If it was really one ) didn't lead you on a wrong track NightKnight.

The thread is yours, Piosenniel.

Ecthelion as he battled the Balrog:

~*~ Pio

Mariska Greenleaf 01-27-2004 03:19 AM

Thanks P!

No ring in a cicle? Nuts, M!

starting with E...

NightKnight 02-01-2004 11:31 AM

Encircling Mountains?

BTW, do you make all those scrambles up by yourselves or do you use a website or something?

piosenniel 02-02-2004 03:08 AM

I make them up myself . . . and I would suppose the others do, too.

Sometimes, if I want to do a particularly long one, I drag out the Scrabble game letter tiles and work with them for the best presentation.

Mariska Greenleaf 02-02-2004 03:29 AM

Encircling Mountains it is!

I make up the scrambles myself, with pen and paper, which isn't so easy really. Maybe I should try it with Scrabble, that's a good idea.

Nightknight, your turn!

NightKnight 02-07-2004 11:54 AM

Scrabble isn't my favorite game, so this one's not so good:

She'll tick foreva, A!

Starts with an S.

Mariska Greenleaf 02-11-2004 03:48 AM

As I already replied on the previous forum...

Sickle of the Valar.;)

NightKnight 02-12-2004 02:13 PM

Yeah, go on.

Mariska Greenleaf 02-13-2004 04:21 AM

Thanks.

Sit in line of grave.

Starting with R, of course. Good luck;)

Mariska Greenleaf 02-18-2004 03:08 PM

It shouldn't be so hard...

I'll give a hint:

RA----- -- -------

Turambar 02-18-2004 03:12 PM

Ravines of Teiglin ?

Mariska Greenleaf 02-19-2004 03:28 AM

That's right!:smokin:

Mariska Greenleaf 02-27-2004 09:34 AM

bump!:smokin:

piosenniel 03-24-2004 08:02 PM

The last answer ended with an N - so here's the clue for the new answer that starts with it:

What Frodo was thinking when Sam gave him the cast off orc clothes to wear:

Ew! Worn!

Firefoot 03-24-2004 08:08 PM

New Row.

piosenniel 03-24-2004 08:10 PM

Well done!

Now let's have a hard one that starts with 'W'! :smokin:
