Denethor is the only one who didn't meet Galadriel - She's Elrond's mother in law (or mother in elf-law) and Gimli met her in Lorien (and he's in love with her).

I'm going to say Sam, because all the others have multiple syllables in their names, and Sam has one...(in the shortened form, that is).
