Ten years of frequent answers
 

The Tolkien usenet newsgroups, alt.fan.tolkien and rec.arts.books.tolkien, would like to invite you to the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of Steuard Jensen's FAQ, tolkien.slimy.com, on 17th August.

The celebrations are open for everybody: old regulars, newcomers, lurkers, occasionals and any other interested, and will take place on usenet in the two groups between 16th August and the 23rd.

Steuard's updated FAQ contains links and improved explanations on how to participate: tolkien.phantom.slimy.com

You can also participate directly through Google Groups, either from groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.books.tolkien or from groups.google.com/group/alt.fan.tolkien.

We hope to see a lot of people -- feel free to distribute this invitation wherever you meet Tolkien enthusiasts.
