Hail everyone!

New here and ready to make some friends that share my love for LOTR.

I am currently looking to do a drawing of one of the Rohirrim.

It is a specific one. In ROTK, during the charge of Pelennor Fields where they are riding straight into the orcs. There is one rider who is bent low on his horse, clenching his axe in one hand and gripping the reigns with a P.O.ed look on his face, riding as fast as his horse can. It is a shot looking at him from the side.

Currently I only have my laptop and I have not got the codec to watch movies on it, so I cannot get a screenshot of this. Anyone who knows where to find this picture or take it themselves, I give many thanks too.

This is one of my favorite parts of the trilogy and that scene gives me a lot of inspiration for my artwork. And again, glad to be here!

Note: I also believe that that certain shot if after the orc leader yells "Fire at will!"

Could you be a bit more specific? I reviewed the scene and found a few shots that might fit the bill.

I think I know the one he means! It could even be Gamling (not sure). I don't have the means to get a screenshot right now though. :(

I watched the scene again and realized the guy is gripping a sword, not an axe.

And he is the most menacing looking rider. One hand on the reigns and he is baring his teeth as they are about to ride into the orcs. I am positive it is after the shot of some of the riders and horses getting hit by arrows and possibly before you see PJ riding a horse.

I believe this is your man.

No, there isn't (I already tried). Didn't intend you to use that one anyway, just wanted to identify the Rider.

See, trouble is, my computer's refused to play DVD's since I last upgraded. I hope someone else can help you out. :(

Now I see what you mean, as I saw angry riders with swords, but not axes. While watching the scene again, I noticed how some of the spears wiggle when the Riders ride.

Anyway, will try to get the shot up soon...was thwarted last night by Ms. alatar.
