Oh merry dol! Of course it is! You're up! :D
lets see.....
seven
siege pippin I think this is easy however the last clue might not fit i think it does |
Hmm, could it be Minas Tirith?
jolly good show
minas tirith is correct take it away ent |
"clears throat" I said ent you're up. Ent?
Right! And my name is Perky! Not Ent! Anyways:
Burned, Hidden, Depleted This is a good one! Have fun! |
Could it be Morgoth? I know it sounds weird, but here's my reasoning:
Burnt- the Silmarils burnt him when he put them into his Iron Crown. Hidden- his stronghold was long hidden from the Valar before the awakening of the Elves. Depleted- he put all his power into conquering Middle-Earth, so his own power is depleted, as he gave it all to his agents (i.e. Orcs). |
Good effort, but not even close!
Gondolin?
Once again, not even close!
the dwarven rings of power? a dragon consumed some so they were burned their number was depleted
Nosirebob!
The White Tree of Nümenor? Unless I'm mistaken, it was lost for some time until Aragorn found a sapling hidden in Minas Tirith.
Not even close!
is it denethor? he was burnt..but not really hidden...but it's just a guess...
Was it Maedhros? Burnt by the firey chasm he leapt into; hidden in the bosom of the Earth; depleted by his Oath and/or the loss of his hand?
Not even close!
what does depleted mean? I'm really slow some times and i dont know what it means!! maybe if you let me know what that means i'll get it....
this is a guess but the one Ring? It was hidden for a long time and it ended up getting burnt butI dont know what depleted means, so thats my guess
Saruman?
He was hidden in Orthanc he burned wth jealousy at Gandalf and his power was depleted |
elfwishes999 for the definition of the word depleted, go here: Dictionary.com Definition As for everyone else, wrong. But Morsul, your on the right track!
Saruman's staff?
No, but still on the path.
could it be Saruman's stash of pipeweed? First Saruman burned it, after the ents attacked to Isengard it was hidden and when the hobbits found it, it was depleted.
Yes!!!!
Paavo, you are a genius! You got it! It was indeed the pipeweed! I'm glad you got it. I figured the trail I paved helped ;) Anyways, congrats, and it's your go!
Yey!
I can't believe this! I figured it out!
so this is how it feels when you actually know something. ;) well, let's see... Used, carried, thrown away. ps. I'll be gone for a couple of days so I can't confirm any answers. sorry. :( |
um Im thinking the one ring, it was used and carried and then thrown away. But Im probably way off.
The Phial of Galadriel? Frodo carried and used it against Shelob, but as he got closer to Mt. Doom, he disgarded it.
Sam's saucepans?
If I may be so humble as to quote mister perky: not even close! :p
except of course Fingolfin II, you have it. :) |
Cheers, paavo.
Skilled, fair, trapped. |
Maybe Eowyn? she was skilled in swordmanship, obviously fair and trapped in many ways: her house falling and she unable to do anything about it, she was held against her will at the houses of healing etc.
Got it in one :).
two in a row!
I better watch out or this will get to my head! :) ok: Ever moving, followed, dangerous. |
Arien?
nope.
Here's a long shot: The ring?
The Fellowship?
Gandalf?
Not even close! :p
it's not a person. |
