the real findorfin 12-10-2002 12:54 PM

Vilya - Ring of Air - made of gold and has a sapphire - Gil-Galad then to Elrond.

Narya - Ring of Fire - red stone - Cirdan to gandalf - power to strengthen hearts.

nenya - Ring of Water - Mithril with white stone - galadriel.

LePetitChoux 12-10-2002 01:00 PM

Vilya (Gil-Galad's/Elrond's) had a sapphire, Narya (Gandalf's/Cirdan's) had a ruby, and Nenya (Galadriel's) had Adamant.

gralin musicteeth 12-10-2002 03:00 PM

Very good, both of you! the real findorfin got to it first, though, and he said the elements so he gets it. Nice try though, Petit!

8)Who were Lomian's parents, and how did they die?

Raefindel-1
Pallando B.C-2
the real findorfin-2
Lindolirian-1
Diamond18-1

the real findorfin 12-10-2002 03:44 PM

Lomion = Maeglin so his parents were Aredhel and Eol. Aredhel died when Eol threw a poison dart at Maeglin and she jumped in the way. Eol's death was soon after as he was thrown from Caragdur on Turgon's orders.

Beren87 12-10-2002 04:07 PM

Hmm...nice way to build up ones posts gralin..

How about... Pippin? I should have brought my books with me!

LePetitChoux 12-12-2002 01:59 PM

Merry, Pippin, Frodo.
Using Common Sense, as Sam wasn't really related to any of them, so it must be those 3.

TolkienGurl 12-12-2002 02:12 PM

Oh, it was asking for 3. Well, I feel DUMB! And I also agree with Petit.

Diamond18 12-12-2002 02:44 PM

Well, he really should have asked for 4, since Bilbo is related to her as well.
