I though about doing one last night as I was free but then something came up and distracted me. But I should be able to participate tonight if there's a thing goin' down.

Maybe we should have themes? I liked the poetry / song theme we had a few weeks back. Maybe we could start having regular things like that? Perhaps that'll give us a bit more structure...

Shall I sign into Skype just in case something is happening today?

The Tolkien Society theme this year is landscapes, but I would rather do poetry again. :D

We did indeed have a Skype call today. G55, Legate, Lommy, Hookbill, and eventually Oddwen came and talked for a while. Even Agan made an appearance. It was great fun. We started out reading various poems in Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit in different languages, and later discussed Aule and beards. We managed to stay quite on task until Legate and Lommy left, and G55 left for the first time. It was just Hookbill and me for a little while, then Oddwen came in and added fun to the party. G55 came back in for a while, I'm not sure exactly when it was, due to my internet cutting out occasionally. All in all, we had a most enjoyable conversation. I think this has been my most enjoyable Skyping yet, actually. It went smoothly and we started off with Tolkien. I look forward to more in the future.

There will be goings-on this weekend, looks like mostly on Sunday but there will be a shadow and a threat growing this afternoon as well.

We've had a few poetry and song readings recently, so how about this week we have epic monologues or discussions?
Perhaps we could read our favourite passages of speech, or conversations (if two or more will work together on request). :)
