A Christmas card given a Tolkien twist

I came across a Christmas card I decided to send to a fellow fan. It had a polar bear on the ice, wearing a red and white hat, saying 'One of my favourite things about this time of year is the cute little elves...' Inside the polar bear explained that 'They taste like chicken!' :D

When writing, I decided to add the following:

It was not a good time and place for this polar bear, on the Grinding Ice, and overheard by a group of large, warlike, very cold, very hungry and very angry Fingolfin-led elves!

What do people think?

My school is sending Christmas cards to a boy trying to break the world record for most holiday cards received, and I wrote "Merry Christmas from Thorin & Co."

Maybe that is what really happened to Elenwe! I expect even Elves would find a polar bear a challenge...
