Kinda difficult I suppose, because thats only half of it.

Beren87 12-06-2002 12:09 AM

No ones even going to try? Surely its no harder than the last one.

Legolas 12-06-2002 09:44 AM

Frodo speaking of his shoulder to Gandalf in the House of Elrond.

Beren87 12-06-2002 05:29 PM

LOVELY! You are entirely completely absolutely and incredibly correct.

Quote:

I will ... for who would lie idle when the king has returned?

Manardariel 12-11-2002 09:25 AM

Faramir. Houses of healing. Oh, and BTW, hi!

-Imrahil- 12-11-2002 05:47 PM

Third time pays for all

Thengise Greenleaf of Mirkwood 12-14-2002 02:09 PM

I don't think this is right, becuase it's the same thing yet worded differently, but could it be Gwaihir to Gandalf?

Beren87 12-14-2002 02:34 PM

Good guess, but unfortunatly no it's not.

Manardariel 12-14-2002 04:03 PM

Again, hobbit-ish. Sam? Frodo?

Beren87 12-14-2002 04:23 PM

Yes! it twas Sam to Gollum.

Really people, try and attempt to actually find the quote. Simply guessing every person in ME until you get it right emliminates the fun in this game.

I was just reminding people, no need to get hasty.

It twas Boromir to the council.

Manardariel 12-18-2002 06:34 AM

Almost!

Beren87 12-18-2002 08:35 PM

Manardariel 12-19-2002 02:04 PM

The king stays or comes at his own will

TolkienGurl 12-23-2002 09:21 AM

That would be Aragorn to the Orc and Wild-men army at Helm's Deep concerning Theoden.

Beren87 12-23-2002 02:49 PM

*bows* you are correct my dear.

TolkienGurl 12-23-2002 03:09 PM

Thank you Beren87. I just read that part last night!

Quote:

'Then let us avenge it, ere we speak of it!'
Who said it?
To whom?
Avenge what?

[ December 23, 2002: Message edited by: TolkienGurl ]

Beren87 12-23-2002 03:13 PM

Aragorn to Eomer, to avenge the "much loss and sorrow" brought in the battle front of Minas Tirith.

TolkienGurl 12-25-2002 05:05 PM

Correct! Proceed.

Beren87 12-25-2002 09:24 PM

Quote:

"As I have begun, so I will go on"

Manardariel 12-26-2002 04:39 PM

Aragorn or Theoden.

Beren87 12-26-2002 05:19 PM

Yes, but why? and to whom?

Manardariel 12-26-2002 05:59 PM

Aragorn, to Imrahil, Eomer and Gandalf, during the last debate.
edit: why? I don´t get what you mean by "why?". They´re debating how to save ME, is that what you wanted to hear?

Beren87 12-26-2002 08:43 PM

Yes you are correct! When you answer a quote question, it is neccesary to put info information so that it is known that you have actually found the quote and are not guessing.

Bergil said that because Pippin got him past the gate so that they could see the incoming soldiers.

Manardariel 01-01-2003 08:04 PM

You´re correct. What else is new???
