I relized something when Shelob stabs Frodo she stabs him basicly in the chest

So how is it she penetrated the mithril and how is it the mithril wasnt damaged when the uruks were looking at it?

I thought mithril was unbreakable?

I suppose it was a plothole. Or perhaps it has regenarating properties. I haven't seen the movie in a long time. But wait, wasn't he stung in the back of his neck?

In the books he was.
