lets discuss indepth character traits
 

one of my favorite things to do is analyze characters. in lord of teh rings, lets face it, tolkien goes all out in creating his characters. he invents languages and places, entire cultures! he also created people. so, i would like to start discussing characters and their motives. it proves to be an interesting topic when you can find parallels in other literature and real life. so, here, i'll start. how can you compare the character of Frodo to the character of Jonas from Lois Lowry's The Giver?
