Maybe this isn't such a good idea... but, hey, what's the worst that could happen?

(Someone very powerful could get tagged, become unhappy, incite a fleet of BDers to give you countless negative reps, forcing you to the low status of a brainless beginner, and promptly kick you out of the Downs for eternity, never again to frolick happily over the haughting hills.)

Well, this is a simple game of tag. So, simple rules.

1. When you get tagged(from a PM), just tag someone else.
2. PM the person you tag so they know what's happening.
3. No tagbacks.

Let us begin:


Gurthang ran quickly around the tree and right into The Only Real Estel. Somewhat flustered, he shouted out the first thing that popped into his head, "You're it!", and scampered away. The Only Real Estel, having no idea what just happened, took a moment to collect himself...

So we just PM the tag & post something short (like you did) here? Presuming that I'm right, I'll continue:

By a completely random process, The Only Real Estel closed his eyes and spun himself around in a crowd, reaching out with his eyes closed & touching Meela. Then dashed dizzily (zig-zagging his way) away.

In her surprise, Meela reels back and trips over her own feet. Upon flailing about to find her balance, her arm reaches out and grabs Mithalwen.

Mithalwen ... having done her best to understand the situation swipes the invisible Eomer of the Rohirrim whose presence she senses :D and trusts she has made contact.

Eomer of the Rohirrim, forced to take part in this game, stumbles about looking for the nearest person to tag so he can get back to doing other stuff.

I guess I'll choose Lhunardawen.

Lhunardawen shot Eomer a sort-of-annoyed-but-not-really look, and with an exasperated sigh tagged...who else? Nilpaurion Felagund.

Forgive me for being the moistened flannel, but . . .
 

I have some serious doubts about the existence of this game.

It is not related to any of Tolkien's works.

Well, I was rather afraid of this. The Thread is broken. But, I guess I knew it was doomed from the beginning.

It might make sense now just to start the game anew, but I'm not going to do that. I think it would just be too much of people saying it doesn't have anything to do with Tolkien...which I guess it really doesn't.

I hang an "unacceptable" tag on this game and topic.
