I am delighted to announce that mormegil has accepted an invitation to join the Barrow-Downs moderating team.

He will be responsible for moderating the Quiz, Quotes and Mirth forums.

While I will remain a moderator of those forums, I am likely (in consequence of RL committments) to be spending less time on the Downs in the future. Accordingly, mormegil will take the lead in moderating them, with support from me.

So, congratulations mormegil on your well-deserved appointment and welcome to the team! :)

I say keep the violent monkey. The team currently has only one scary avatar (Mister Underhill) and I suggest that more fear will be useful in keeping discipline around here. :D

Hmmm, maybe I should consider using an Ogre-Fiona avatar if you think more discipline is needed...
