My brother's birthday too, but does that 1st of March correspond to the the 1st of March in the third age, I'm sure February had 30 days then or something like that

Also, it is the day that Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli first met Gandalf the White and set for Edoras...a pretty important moment if you ask me.
And let's not forget the beginning of spring!...though judging by the weather outside I didn't notice any change. :(
